À propos de ce logement
My apartment is located in the heart of Budapest. In fact it is on the corner of three bustling streets, Podmaniczky , Bajcsy Zsilinszky, and Nagymező street. The flat is in a century-old estate which used to belong to Count Podmaniczky, who was an influential noble in the Kingdom of Hungary.
In the flat you can find a hall, a big living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a dining room. The bedroom has a small balcony and if you are standing on it, you can get a feeling of what Budapest is like.
The bedroom can accommodate 3 people because there is a single and a double bed. Nevertheless, if 5 of you would like to stay comfortably in the apartment, it is also possible because in the living room one of the couches can be converted into a double bed. On request 4 separate beds are also available.
You can find a small LCD TV in the living room (but if you’re a TV fan and need a big one, just tell me and I will manage it). There are about 80 channels including at least 25 foreign channels (CNN, BBC, RTL, RAI UNO, etc.). At the same time the TV can also be used as a monitor if you have a laptop. (VGA cable available)
The apartment has a fibre broadband internet connection (80/25 Mbit/s) so you can use your WIFI devices anywhere in the flat.
Moreover, there are 3 LAN ports with which you can reach the maximum download and upload speed.
The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave oven, cooker, boiler, toaster, coffee-machine, fridge, freezer, etc.) but if you need anything else, just feel free to tell me.
On your arrival you will find a complimentary fruit and vegetable plate (with seasonal fruit and vegetables) in the dining room. You’ll love them.
From the apartment most of the famous and historical places can be reached on foot (don’t worry, you don’t need to be a marathon runner):
Parliament (5 minutes)
St. Stephen’s Basilica (10 minutes)
Heroes Square (25 minutes)
Chain Bridge (15 minutes)
Buda Castle (25 minutes)
Váci Street (15 minutes)
Andrássy Avenue (Hungarian Champs Elysees – 5 minutes)
Synagogue (15 minutes)
Liszt Ferenc Square (5 minutes)
A bureau de change and a non-stop shop can be reached within seconds because they are just right on the corner.
Budapest is said to have good public transport and from this apartment you can you reach different underground (Line 1,2,3), tram (No. 4,6), trolley-bus (No. 72,73,70, and 78) and bus lines in about 3 minutes (trolley-bus No. 72, 73, 70 and 78 stop just opposite the building).
If you would like to find some nice bars and pubs, just take the first corner on the left and you will find plenty of them.
If you would like to have lunch or dinner, just take the first corner on the right, and go straight 400 meters and you will find yourself at Liszt Ferenc square where there are a lot of nice restaurants.
Last but not least if you are looking for a nice and friendly ‘value for money’ apartment in the city centre and at the same time a local guy who was born to host, do not hesitate to contact me.
If you are 2 and book my apartment (and stay at least 2 nights), you can get a free transfer from the airport or any railway or bus stations. Have fun!
The neighbours are nice and tolerant but after 10.00 PM everybody tries to avoid making too much noise... The apartment is non-smoking but you can smoke on the terrace or on the corridor. On the ground floor there are two bins for the recycled waste (paper and plastic).
Si vous annulez jusqu'à 24 heures avant le voyage, vous recevez un remboursement intégral, frais de service compris.
In 2003 I graduated as an economist specialized in tourism and hotel management. I did my college practice in Hotel Kempinski which is an international 5-star hotel chain and during that period I had the chance to learn what professional hospitality and catering mean. By listing my own property I would like to try to fulfill all my would-be guests' needs and requirements just as I used to do it in a 5-star hotel.
Besides, if I do not promote Hungarian tourism, I work as an English teacher. :)
