Our three bedroom house has a wood burning stove and a garden filled with pine, oak and maple trees. There's outdoor seating and BBQ for summer grilling.
We're close to a creek for kayaking and ten minute drive from great Hudson Valley restaurants.
This house sits on a quiet country street, in a village with just a church and a post office.
If you don't mind a good walk with a steep hill, you'll find the Rondout Creek a tributary of the Hudson River, a great place for eagle spotting or kayaking.
The house is a 5-10 minute drive to shops and restaurants in Rosendale and Kingston.
The tree lined yard is about a third of an acre, has a six person patio table and grill. Its great for watching squirrels and birds.
I go there to listen to the radio and tune out, but there's a huge collection of dvds-videos for colder nights. Cable TV (ESPN/CNN) and WI-FI Internet connection.
There are two bikes available and a large drive way.
Two of the three bedrooms can accommodate couples, both are full size beds and the third smaller room sleeps one in a twin bed. There is a queen size high rise blow up bed too.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you'd need for a holiday celebration or weekend away.
We have four hot plates and a small-sized oven, toaster, waffle maker, a
blender, lobster pot, electric grill and counter top bake oven, toaster, French coffee press.
Tons of condiments, kitchen roll, clean tea-towels and liquid soap all on hand.
The house is decorated in traditional country style.
Fully equipped kitchen, great for Thanksgiving or the holidays.
Very comfortable sofas for just enjoying the wood burning stove. Baseboard heat in the whole house.
There is also a bus direct from NYC Port Authority which will drop you at the top of our street.
Great in summer for U Pick farms, and in fall for apple picking, hayrides. We are a picturesque drive to Hunter and Wyndham Mountain. Close enough for a ski-weekend.

I'm available by text or phone for help. I will not be present during your stay.
We are a three night minimum on holiday weekends.
Please no smoking and no pets.
We have fresh sheets and towels but if you prefer to bring your own that's ok.
Please turn the heat down to 55 on thermostat upstairs and down when you leave. In the summer, please don't leave on the A/C while you're out on a daytrip.
Take home your trash, we have no collection service. Do not dump it in the outside trash cans. (The Rosendale Transfer station is close by for those staying a while.)
Please don't leave food in the fridge and use a chopping board when using knives rather than the butchers block.
Please remove muddy boots and clean off muddy bike wheels outside.
We have an inventory of possessions, please tell us about breakages so I can replace things.
Please leave the house in the condition you found it.
Return keys where you picked them up.
No guests beyond four adults without express permission.
We don't mind get togethers but please ask if you're planning a party of any kind.
Please lock the doors every time you go out.
Please clean the outdoor grill if you use it.
Please open the window in bathroom after using the shower, we have no ventilation and want to prevent any mold issues.
