I stayed for two weeks and had a great time. In addition to being helpful, Dennis was very super friendly and funny. The area is beautiful and safe. Nearest subway station is Davis Square and it's a 30 min. walk or 7-8 min. bus. Really enjoyed my time there, and Boston is great, as usual.

Dennis was great! Super welcoming and inclusive for meeting the other guests and using the house. He is also good about respecting privacy for the more solitary traveler. The place has a gorgeous back porch - simple room but it was a safe and quiet place to sleep for me.

Dennis is a great host, full of stories and quite a character! Thank you very much for the wonderful week, I'd love to come back again. If you're traveling without car, it can take some time to get in Boston downtown, but the price and time you'll have will compensate that! I have seen lots of airbnb's and this was one of the best. Room is comfortable, no noise from the street and comfortable kitchen to cook.

Dennis And Shirley's house is a very nice traditional New Englad home. The rooms are very nice, with high ceiling and plenty of space. The charm of the place grows on you very quickly and adds to your experience of the place. Dennis is a very nice, resourceful, and fun person to talk. He was a great host in all, he was there when needed and out of sight otherwise. I felt lost of privacy, freedom and comfort in his place. I will certainly consider it as my first choice in Arlington area.

Was a great house and a great stay, I enjoyed it very much. The bed was super comfy, washer/dryer worked well, and there was plenty of room. Small hangup was tandem parking, but Dennis did everything he could to try to eliminate that, it just took some getting used to. Would certainly stay there again, was close enough to Boston, and had plenty of neat restaurants around to try.

Everything was great. Dennis was a very friendly and accommodating host. The neighborhood is great. Very charming and downtown Arlington not too far away.

Dennis is a fantastic, friendly host: helpful, interesting, willing to tell you where and how you can do what you wish in the Arlington or neighboring areas. My room was fine. A bit cozy perhaps, but there was access to the rest of the house: well-stocked kitchen, comfy TV room (with many channel options), pleasant back-porch (where it is pleasant to have a meal, read, or just sit). There was also good wifi speed, washer/dryer;... Location is quite good, also with Spy Pond and Mystic Valley River not far away, as well as downtown (such as it smallish is) Arlington about 5 minutes walk. There are nearby Whole Foods' stores in at least two, maybe 3, directions too. Parking can be a bit of a dance, as the laws require cars be off the streets, but this did not cause a problem, as there is space, and Dennis helped organize who parked in what order. A nice place in a good location for a fair price, with a fun, interesting host!
