Where to even begin... Simona and Alferico were absolutely wonderful. The home was stunning and homey. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and made every effort to make us comfortable. They were generous enough to even give us a couple of goodies from their personal garden. If interested in staying in a historical home with a more quiet atmosphere this is for you! My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay and will return in the future. I highly recommend it!
We had a great 5 night stay, the property was exactly as pictured and we were made to feel really at home. Our hosts Alberico & Simone were so helpful and friendly, bringing us fresh veg from the garden, homemade desserts and fresh honey from their hives. They also helped with travel advice/information and recommending places to visit which was really useful given we only had a short stay. The property has great character & all the equipment you'll need for a holiday, it also keeps relatively cool in the high temperatures which was a nice break from the heat of the day. The private terrace is a nice place to sit and we also had use of the family garden area to ourselves, with sun loungers to use. This is nice in late afternoon if you still want to soak up the sun. This is a great place to stay, we couldn't have asked for more and we will definitely recommend to friends and family. The one thing that could've helped given the high temperatures would've been a small freezer to keep ice for drinks, however this was a really minor point which was more a nice to have than a necessity.
