Sometimes I personally or my assistant welcome the guests and give access and introduce the property. Also I am available 24/7 during the time of occupancy.

Clarendon has a commercial district that rivals many major shopping areas in DC, but it also has offices, apartment buildings, townhouses, and single family homes in the same area. It’s very compact and easy to walk around, with quiet tree-lined residential streets just a few blocks from the restaurants and bars along Wilson Boulevard. Clarendon is home to both major retailers and smaller independently-owned businesses, so it has become a destination for people from across the region. The balance between the unique independent stores and national chains has gone on for decades, as seen in this interesting account from the Washington Business Journal.

So what kind of person lives in Clarendon? Well according to We Love DC’s Patrick, a Clarendon resident of four years, the Arlington rap video is pretty accurate. He says, “There are a lot of young yuppie/fratty, brown sandal wearing people here.” There are also young families, interns, some retirees, and more.

Clarendon feels much more like a city than a suburb, so there are plenty of transportation options here. The Clarendon Metro is conveniently located, and there are plenty of bus lines serving the area as well. Biking is relatively easy, and Capital Bikeshare will bring a major bike-sharing program to the area and the District. The Custis trail offers access to the District and the W&OD trail. Clarendon is very walkable, and the best way to explore the neighborhood is by foot. Patrick says, “From where I live I love that I can walk to almost any place I need to go.”

Hi my future guest,

Everybody has a story. I have been living alone since I was 11. I was born in a small village 30 years ago. I still do not know my exact birthday. I spent my childhood shepherding cows, taking care of hazelnut fields, chopping woods, climbing trees and picking fruit. I made all my toys by myself and play with them outside and coming home dirty. Soccer was my favorite and I do not remember how many windows and light bulbs I broke.Everything was allright until I had to quit school for working after 5th grade because of conditions. After a year, I had the chance to start school again. I was a bright student and I was asked to go to the city for studying. I was so independent that I cried to rent a room instead of going to a dormitory. My room did not have any windows, but I was happy being in charge of my life. This was how I started living alone since then. I started cooking, washing and ironing my clothes, organize my own life, selling donuts on the street, having alot of guests, because I was the only child living alone. Therefore, I have been hosting since that time. Up to now, 19 years with full of memories, stories and people, and counting

I am an entrepreneur dealing with businesses independently. I just got my MBA , and I am operating Home Remodeling Service,Cleaning Service companies and running several apartments for Airbnb as a host. Maybe I am the most experienced and the busiest Airbnb host around Washington DC Metropolitan area. I have over 900 reviews. I enjoy it.

I love watching and playing soccer. I dont have a pet, but both I love a cats and dogs(maybe a bit more cats),I am a big tea fan. I am a true peace supporter and idealist. I believe that everybody is a finger of same hand. Also, I genuinely believe that Airbnb serves for peace, because we meet all type of people. So we get rid of all our prejudgments about others. As long as you travel around you become more respectful. I think meeting new people, traveling, try new things are kind of essentials of our life.

I met Airbnb two years ago, and I have met thousands of new people and many cultures through Airbnb so far. I have hosted over 2000 reservations and thousands of people from all over the word. I will be so glad to see you being my guests as well. You can book instantly without hesitation if my apartment is available on calendar. You can come anytime late after 3 pm. I try to be flexible with my check in and out times. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any concern, so we can discuss it.
