We can only recommend staying at Nancy's Airbnb! She is the best host you could imagine! She is helpful and lovely. We suggest having the breakfast as Nancy has such an inspiring personality and can tell you so much about history, politics and Philadelphia! We enjoyed talking to her at any opportunity and she emphasized that she wanted to give us the feeling of being on holiday. Everything was clean, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable! Concerning the location we were very happy with it. It was half an hour walking to major sights and there were also lovely restaurants nearby. All in all, it was our best Airbnb experience so far.

Nancy's home was perfect for our weekend trip to Philadelphia! It was far enough away that evenings were quiet, but close enough that we could walk all over the city! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and began every morning with a lovely breakfast and chat about what our plans were. Nancy was quick to respond when booking and there was plenty of street parking nearby. Her knowledge of the city and hospitality really made for a delightful trip. -Meredith

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Nancy in her beautiful home. She was a great host and made us feel so welcome. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We had two nights of great sleep, just what we needed! In the morning, Nancy made us a lovely, healthy breakfast with great coffee! She had relaxing jazz music playing in the background and along with all of her beautiful artwork to look at as we chatted, it was a lovely experience. The location is fantastic, beside a nice park which has a market on Sunday mornings. It is only a short, enjoyable walk into South Street where there are some great cafes. We went back to our favorite called Little Spoon for lunch! We will definitely be back to stay with Nancy when we visit Philadelphia again and we strongly encourage others to do so too! Thank you Nancy!

Nancy's entire home is beautifully furnished and very clean. She is a great host and was always accommodating! We loved the Location! Location! Location! room that we stayed in on the second floor-- comfy bed and lounge chair to read in-- and the air conditioner and ceiling fan kept us cool despite the 90 degree weather. We also enjoyed getting to chat with Nancy and the other AirBnB guests in the house over breakfast each morning. Located in a quiet neighborhood near a beautiful park, we would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Nancy gave us top-notch recommendations for local eateries within walking distance. Fabulous hostess, who really made a point in getting to know us by spending time with us during the delicious, healthy breakfast. Yet she also gave us our own space (there is a separate reading room we were able to use). We will definitely look to stay with her again when we come back to the area.

Rooms accommodate others, and because of this, we met people we wouldn't have met otherwise. Breakfast is included and her artwork adds a wonderful touch.

I was born in Philadelphia and I have lived, studied, worked, taught, and raised a family of three in this fine city.
I am a prominent Philadelphia Printmaker. My work can be seen at The Print Center and at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Art in Philadelphia, Pa. I am retired from teaching art and I am now devoting my to making art full time in my print shop/studio.
My work is exhibited in galleries, museums and universities in the U.S.A. and abroad. It is represented in many private and public collection around the world. Traveling abroad; meeting new people; and hearing family histories often inspires and informs the art I make. So you are welcome to share a coffee and a story with me in my kitchen before going out to enjoy our lovely city, the first capital of the United State, Philadelphia.
Did I mention my cat, Vincenzo ?
They are as people friendly as I am.
