Our architecturally designed house enjoys expansive mountain views from the underfloor heated open plan living space with solid fuel stove, patio, play area and garden. Rural yet not remote, 3 miles from town, 1 mile to INEC and National Park.
The 20ft high ceilings in the open plan living area gives a great sense of space and the solid fuel stove adds a feel of cosiness. The well equipped and spacious kitchen is pleasant to spend time in providing all usual mod cons, and adjoining utility room is home to washing machine, dish washer, tumble dryer and microwave.
The upstairs master bedroom adjoins the jacuzzi bathroom and the upstairs den/lounge provides alternative living space with well stocked book library and a small DVD library for children.

There is plenty of parking space on the grounds. The play area includes swings and slide which are easily visible from the patio and sun-room.

The location is excellent for easy access to bustling Killarney town just 3 miles away, and the National Park and the INEC are each just over 1 mile away. The house enjoys expansive mountain views of Ireland's highest range, the Mcgillycuddy Reeks. Muckross House and gardens, Muckross Abbey and all the many attractions of the park are within easy reach.
Killarney is the starting point for a day trip around the world famous Ring of Kerry, a circular route around the middle of the three peninsulas that make up the majestic Kingdom of Kerry. Killarney has car rental services, a rail way and public bus station and bicycle rental services. Kerry airport is about 13 miles away. A taxi from Killarney town to our house will cost around €10.
The choice of restaurants, pubs and cafes is wide. Have the full Irish breakfast in Cronin's restaurant, French patisseries in the bakery on High Street, or go to Gaby's for world class seafood cuisine. See the inspiring Irish music and dance shows, Celtic Steps at the race course theatre or go to O Connor's bar for a lively live music session. There are nite clubs too for the late night revellers.
There is plenty for families with children to do including visiting the free public play ground, visit our Pugen- designed Cathedral, enjoy a swim in our super-modern public pool or in one of many private leisure centres, take a jaunting cart ride or jump on the open top tour bus or road train. There is horse riding, pet farms, fishing, mountain trekking, boating, shopping, cycling, art galleries and festivals.....and the sea side is about 20 miles away.

This is a quiet residential area with young families nearby so no parties allowed. No pets allowed. No smoking allowed in the house.
