Le logement

Clean, extra comfy queensize bed, 100% cotton sheets and towels, lots of light and convenient access to NYC and all NJ by car or train.

This third floor single room offers you a cozy place to be to study, think and create. The room features a single bed, a Drexel Mahogany dresser, a desk and a closet and high speed internet. Sunlight pours into two large windows. Right next door you have a private bath with marble floors, Italian tiles, Kohler fixtures and a skylight. The kitchen has a small stove with oven, small fridge and lots of light. The original hardwood floors in this 19th century brick row house, 10-foot high ceilings, and high speed internet make this a good option for someone who wants to be in the NY metro area at an affordable price. Your hosts, a college professor and her family, live downstairs from you.

Our home is located 15 minutes walking from a 20 minute (NJ Transit) train to NYC. A bus stops right in front of the house. Parking is easy on streets near or right in front of the house.

We are located in Newark, about a 15-20 minute drive from the Newark airport. We can arrange to pick you up for a fee smaller than the taxis will charge you. Let us know. We can include breakfast (with amazing organic coffee and organic milk options) if you order it for a small fee, but there are also restaurants and a small grocery with a juice bar within 2 blocks. Laundries are also available around the corner.

I loved staying L's place. The room is nice & big ,the whole apartment is very cosy and the bathroom is clean. Everything you need is in walking distance & it is super easy to get around using the NJ transit, like I did. Check-in & check-out were super easy & L. is very accessible. Very good choice.

This is a wonderful place in Newark! It's just a few blocks to the train to NYC, and also around the corner from multiple buses that go to Montclair. I got a weekly train pass to NYC (around $45) and it also includes free rides on the bus and light rail :) The 13 bus takes you from the train station to the front door which was so nice on one of the freezing days here. The room has been decorated differently than in the picture and is extra charming and comfortable! Everyone in the neighborhood was really nice. There are a lot of Spanish restaurants and bodegas. Around the corner was a great bodega with lots of fresh produce that we liked going to. The host was very sweet, reliable, and gets back to you very quickly. Thank you so much!!

Amazing place, perfect for writing and working on art, close to airport, easy transpo into city through light rail, path and NJ transit. Great latin food in the neighborhood. Friendly, clean, great little kitchenette, overall just perfect. Will be going back whenever I need to finish projects and enjoy to peacefulness.
