A charming staying for your visit to Hanoi, Vietnam. Located in West Lake area and 15 mins to Hanoi Old Quarter by bus.
If you're looking for a peaceful, welcoming stay with the locals to explore Vietnamese culture, then this house is the right place.
The house has a nice lounge with wooden furniture and an indoor fish pond. You can also go up to the top floor, which overlooks to the lake and its surroundings.
The spacious bedroom and its adjacent bathroom give you complete privacy. The owners live upstairs in a separate unit, with a shared stairway. The bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed that will comfortably fit two. There is a TV with basic cable and free, house-wide wifi. The bathroom has a shower as well as a large luxurious bathtub.
The kitchenette is fully equipped and includes a kettle, microwave, and refrigerators. It does not have a full sized oven. You will be sharing the kitchen with the owners so please be respectful and clean up after yourself. My mom is a very clean person so she does not like unwashed dishes left out for too long.
The house is conveniently located at West Lake area. You can walk around the famous lotus ponds and enjoy the nature in a quiet and peaceful enclave in the city. There is a bike rental right nearby. I recommend trying out one of the Vietnamese cafés around the lake. The coffee is delicious and unique, and I bring it with me whenever I travel.
Along Xuan Dieu street, which is 10 mins from the house, you can find not only fresh and healthy Vietnamese food, but also food from all around the world such as Indian, Japanese sushi, Middle East, Italian…etc. At night, the place offers lots of great bars with spectacular views to the lake. The house is also close to the expat community so you can meet up other travelers easily.
Every Saturday morning, there is a farmers market, which is about 10 mins walking from the house. It offers organic food, arts and craft. Here is their website (URL HIDDEN)
The house is located at a very convenient place. There is a public swimming pool, water park, supermarket, and a gym nearby. The bus is about 10 mins walking, which takes you to Hanoi Old Quarter in less than 20 mins.
Enjoy your stay!

I am a native Hanoian. I have personally used Airbnb before, and I'd love to welcome travelers all around the world to my city as others have welcomed me.
I love exploring new places and other cultures. I attend Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, U.S.A. Right now, I'm spending my summer in Mexico.
