Romain's place was very conveniently located! There are a couple of stations a few blocks away and trains run every few minutes. You can get anywhere quickly. There are 3 markets within a couple of minutes walk, too. What looks like Paris's Chinatown is a walk away for some great…
Réponse de Romain :
Some commentaries you wrote are right, but most of them are a bit unfair. I agree for the pictures, i have to change it. But the apartment is much more convenient now than it was before. It now has a washing machine (which perfectly works, i can hear its sound right now) and a real kitchen table (the table on the picture is a camping table). I also agree there should be less stuff on the shelves, but most of the stuff was there for you. For example i found the white wine and the orange juice in the fridge, you didn't touch it but it was a bienvenue gift for you. As for the salt, the pepper, and all the spices i left. It was there for your convenience. The apartment is tiny but there is no surprise about it, you can read it in the description. Four people can come there if they need to, there is no problem about it and before Yun nobody complained. I let people come at four when they need it for the price they pay (the price is the same when you come at one two three or four people). And remember that most of the apartments of this city are very tiny, parisians are accustomed to live in such places. You said it's not arty, yes it is. I live in a arty place, close to the Point Ephémère (music and contemporary art, 200m away) close to the Bellevilloise, very close to the canal Saint-Martin, close to place Sainte Marthe... Did you manage to go to these places i mentioned in your bienvenue mail ? Even in my own flat, on the street, there is a place called "la Mutinerie". You enter it, and well, it's a place for young co-workers, entrepreneurs, journalistes and artists. You are right for the fan, i will buy one . You are right for the dusts on the shelves upstairs, i had to go quickly and i forgot to do it, first time it happens. I think it's one of the first times you travel with airbnb. Next time, please remember it's not an hostel, you are living for a few days in someone's place, with someone's stuff he can't carry with himself everytime he's leaving his place. And that is the reason why airbnb is interesting ; you are living in someone's intimacy, you discover the way he lives. That interests me very much when i travel. Despite all i said, i think you communicate very well and that you are a great guest which perfectly respect all the rules.
It was a really nice experience staying at Romain's house. House is very comfortable, bright and clean. The construction of flat is very interesting. It has two floors. Flat is also near metro stations, so you can get very fast to place you need. There are also many bakery and ot…
