This is a newly remodeled (June 2015) one-bed/studio type space in a fourplex behind our house. Within walking distance to UT and many restaurants, groceries, etc. Perfect for visiting prof and parents of students.
This unit is a one bedroom studio type of apartment, open concept, with a retaining wall and three steps up from living area to bed/bath area. It is located in a fourplex behind our home. The top two units are long-term rental units and bottom two are short-term. No parties, loud noise, smoking or pets. The two bottom units can be leased together for four adults. No more than two adults per unit is allowed.
Rent price varies dependent upon events in Austin. ACL, SXSW, F1, UT events will have higher per night rent.

Entire unit. We also own apartment building next door and you can use the coin-operated washer/dryer unit located there. There is a rooftop deck that can be used by all tenants of the fourplex.

We live in the house in front, so can help out guests when needed. We usually leave you alone unless you want some guidance on the area.
This unit is in Central Austin and borders Hyde Park and Hancock neighborhoods, so close to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. Ten to 15 minute walk to most places. Bus #7 is 1.5 blocks from the unit, Bus #5 is about five blocks away.
No parties, no pets, absolutely no smoking anywhere on property, inside or out. No loud noise/music. Check in is 2p and Check out is 11 am. Earlier/later can be arranged if possible.

My husband and I love to travel and often stay in short-term rentals. We have a four-plex behind our home and we have listed one apartment with another short-term rental company for several years. We just remodeled Unit A for rental starting end of June 2015 and are listing it on Airbnb.
We can offer as little or as much guidance as needed for tenants, but we usually just stay out of your way unless you have specific questions.
Two adult limit on the units, no smoking anywhere on property.
