•Bugs are big and plentiful in Hawaii. Don’t give them a reason to enter the house; keep the screen doors closed, place trash in outside bin often, keep the kitchen and sink clean by throwing food away or packing them into air-tight containers and into the refrigerator as much as possible.
•Take out your trash and throw into the large grey garbage bins in the front of the house as needed. Trash is collected by the City on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Please use trash bag liners provided.
•Put only appropriate food down the garbage disposal. Inappropriate use of sinks & garbage disposal resulting in service/maintenance will result in an additional charge.

•Do a full load of laundry when using the washer/dryer, but please do not overfill the washer. Please shake off excessive sand from clothes before placing them in the washer/dryer. Overfilling or excess sand resulting in service/maintenance of the washer/dryer will result in an additional charge.
•Beach/pool towels have been provided for your use and more towels are available poolside. Please do not take the
regular bathroom towels to the beach.

Everything listed by the host is accurate. The house is clean and has all necessary amenities. It was a short drive to town and the beach. The community is lovely and there is easy access to the rest of the island. Beach towels and toys were provided, which was ideal. A great place to enjoy a great Hawaiian vacation.

Good location on a very quiet street in Kailua. Unit had all basic needs with a good kitchen with many appliances. Having the beach towels available was super convenient. Pool area was tight but the pool is very clean. Location is super close to grocery stores, dining and target which is also really convenient!

The host immediately responded to all texts. Several things were not working properly and almost all were quickly attended to once the host/owner was notified. I am most grateful for being allowed to have a package I needed mailed to the location. The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood with nothing in walking distance however, everything you could possibly need or want is within a 15 minute drive, including the nicest beaches. Beach chairs and towels are provided. The bed sheets are very soft and there is an ample supply of towels. There is an excellent washing machine just out the back door. There is also a wonderful panoramic view from the lanai. There is a/c in each room however the one in the living room cannot be adjusted but I think the owner is going to take care of this. Our needs were met by having two bedrooms with two bathrooms, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. It is very much a turn key business and as such, it is maintained but not loved. .

We loved staying at Arlene's place. The cottage was exactly like the pictures and the view over Kailua town was great. The cottage was clean and everything worked well. We had a great time and I would definitely stay again on our next Kitesurfing trip.

This cottage is just as described. It is in a quiet residential area on a hill above the owners home. We were a family of 5 including 3 teens so having four beds was perfect. It was very quiet and I loved the morning bird activity off the lanai. I let our kids pick the place from an approved list and the 4 beds and 3 tv's and AC were it for them. There were boogie boards on the deck we were able to use. We didn't get to try out the pool, but it looked very nice. It was nice to be away from all the congestion in Waikiki but close enough when we did want to go over. We didn't cook much except for breakfast and we had everything we needed. Very close to grocery stores and restaurants.
