This apartment was very well-located near the central, old part of Sarajevo, and the unit itself was very cute inside, but unfortunately I had some issues with this reservation. First and foremost, this rental says it has free parking on premises, which is untrue. I specifically asked about this when I was booking and right before our trip, and first I was told there was free parking and then I was told there was not free parking but we would be shown "good, safe" parking nearby. We were not. It was just street parking, which is very difficult to find and known to be unsafe in Sarajevo. So we had to park on a far away street the first night and then fight for a space in a nearby parking structure for the next 2 days, which we obviously had to pay more for.
The other issue is that Kenan was not very communicative with us before we showed up. We asked him to be there at a certain time to let us in because we didn't have cell service in Bosnia, and he said he would be but then did not show up. We actually found someone willing to call him for us, but his phone number didn't work so we had to go to a cafe to get wifi to contact him, and then he came over. It worked out in the end, but it was a hassle, and we did discuss it beforehand and show up at the time we said we would.
Overall, this is a good place to stay, but I might have stayed elsewhere had I known it didn't actually have parking and we would have such major communication issues with the host.
