This is a private apartment, not sharing. Guests have exclusive use of the apartment.

You will have access to the whole apartment, which includes kitchen, living room, laundry, dining room, courtyard/balcony, 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom (including ensuite bathroom with bath shaped spa-bath).

However, the second bedroom and second bathroom remain locked off (unused) during the stay. This enables me to offer you a better rate based on the 1 bedroom/1 bathroom usage.

Simon lives in Margaret River town and is contactable anytime by mobile phone and can provide over the phone help or visit the property in order to provide guest assistance

LOCKED ROOMS
Bedroom 2 & Bathroom 2 are locked off (unused) during the stay. Please do not try to force the lock or force the door to open. If you decide that you would like to change your booking to include the extra rooms, please notify Simon so that the booking can be amended & the extra charge applied and Simon can then unlock the rooms.

COMPLIMENTARY
Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, food wrap & foil provided. Hand pump soap provided in bathroom and shower.

PLEASE BRING
This self-contained property asks guests to provide their own shampoo, body wash and toiletries.

WiFi
Is provided complimentary for guest use for general browsing. Please avoid making very large downloads because the speed may be shaped if the monthly plan is exceeded.

BALCONY
Sol Apartment has two balconies. Balcony 1 is accessed from the living room. Balcony 2 is accessed from the bedroom.

STAIRS
The apartment is accessed by one flight of stairs.

PORTACOT/HIGHCHAIR RENTAL
Available for $40 per stay.

DEPARTURE
By 10am. Late checkout is by prior arrangement only and is subject to availability and late checkout fee of $60.

House Rules are provided in the info folder in the Apartment.
Additionally:

NOISE
Guests are to acknowledge there are laws regarding excessive noise after 10pm and before 7am. Noise carries easily in the night to nearby residences.
After 10pm at night, please:
•Keep noise to a minimum
•No musical instruments
•No loud music
•No shouting or loud voices
•Be aware noise carries, especially when you are outside.

If there is a noise complaint from neighbours during the guest stay then the bond will be forfeited. The bond will be used towards administration of the noise complaint and compliance of the property with local shire rules and regulations regarding holiday rental properties.

CLEANING
•Guests are required to leave the property in a neat and tidy condition and report any breakages to the manager.
•Dishes should be properly washed and packed away, or washing in the dishwasher on departure.
•Rubbish should be removed and placed in the bins near the parking area.
•We provide cleaning as part of the overall rate that you paid to stay however this rate doesn't cover excess cleaning. If excess cleaning is required for example to wash dishes, clean very dirty oven, spilled food/liquid in fridge, sand through the house or other excessive amounts of cleaning, then we may charge an excess cleaning fee of $45/hour.

PETS & SMOKING
The property has a strictly no pets policy, and a strictly no smoking inside policy.
Smoking is permitted on the balcony/outdoors with the doors closed. Please use ash tray and dispose of butts thoughtfully.

HOUSE INFORMATION MANUAL
There is a house manual in the kitchen drawer.

Upstairs apartment very near to town centre - ideal for a couple such as ourselves on a visit to the area.

fantastic place to stay, walking distance from coles and the main strip but far enough away from the restaurants for a quiet night in. photos match reality and host was communicative

A good experience overall. A very secure and large apartment in a good location, close to all Margaret River facilities.

Great location in Margaret River - very central to everything. It was easy for tour operators to find. Very secure however stairs could be difficult for disabled persons.

Thanks for the review Jenny and it was lovely to meet you both. Yes the apartment is certainly very secure and thanks for the feedback on access, the one flight of stairs are definitely something for disabled or elderly to consider prior to booking a stay at Uptown or Sol Apartment.
