Eric loves sharing his knowledge of Seattle's hidden treasures, restaurants, and routes. An avid cyclist and urban tourist, Eric knows many hidden treasures not on the guide maps. He’s bicycle toured and camped in Pacific Northwest destinations like the San Juan Islands, and Oregon Coast.
Guests will be provided with a printed guide listing hidden treasures, special spots, favorite restaurants, parks, and amenities not typically included in local guide books. Eric can tailor recommendations based on your interests and tastes.
If you already know where you're going and prefer privacy, I support that to. The apartment is very private.
I live and work upstairs. Spaces are separate with a locked door between rental and my living space. I use the garage for bike parking. Your privacy and comfort are important to me.
I enjoy meeting guests in-person if possible at our mutual convenience to say hi and see if there's anything you may need. Sometimes busy schedules do not permit meeting.
I provide towels and basic toiletries.
Kitchen has pro quality pots & pans.
Free parking on street. Please be sure to use only one parking space so neighbors can also park.
Please let me know if you need any kitchen utensils or appliances not already in the apartment. I live upstairs and am happy to share. Best to text or phone me with any requests, since your apartment is separate from my living space.
If you’re traveling with a bicycle, my home is 100% bike friendly. I have a bicycle repair stand and tools for putting your bike back together if you boxed and shipped it.
No smoking inside the house. That includes vaping. Guests may smoke or vape weed or tobacco on the covered deck or anywhere outside on the property.
Please do not enter the upstairs area.
Please turn off lights and heaters when you leave a room.
No fishing in pond.
Guests may use trampoline at your own risk.
Check-in after 3PM. Please check-out by noon so I can prepare the apartment for other guests.
Fire extinguisher can be found on the post just outside the bedroom
Apartment is equipped with a smoke alarm and CO monitor. If cooking causes smoke alarm to go off, please open window and turn on vented microwave exhaust fan.
In the case of a medical or police Emergency, dial 9-1-1.
Please be sure to lock entry door and windows whenever you leave the apartment.
Feel free to use dishes, pots/pans, and anything that may be in fridge. Please clean dishware after use and put in drying rack.
When using stove or oven or microwave please turn on vented microwave exhaust fan. This will keep the apartment from getting too hot, will exhaust odors, and will prevent smoke alarm from going off.
Gas Grill or Charcoal BBQ:
Please let me know that you'd like to use either and I will get you set up with what you need. The deck, yard, garage, and laundry room are shared with me and my family & friends.
I'm new at this so feel free to let me know if you need anything or have any suggestions for how I can improve the guest experience.
