Charles and his partner Fergus look forward to welcoming airbnb guests to their homes. An Cuan Guest House in Islay during the summer, Kelvin Drive in the West End of Glasgow (their winter home) all year round and Braeside, their delightful holiday house on the Island of Jura For summer holidays. They also share their homes with their lovely 'labradoodle' dog, Bailey and Cairn, Bunty - they are adorable so you must like dogs!) Charles' interests are keeping fit and active by swimming, walking, skiing, sailing. I enjoy the theatre, Gaelic culture and Scottish Country music and dancing. I also like classical music and 'golden oldies' so listen to Classic, Smooth and Gold radio stations. Fergus majors on Gaelic singing!
They are knowledgeable about Glasgow, Islay and Scotland and happy to help guests organise their travel and site seeing.
Their own holidays are spent between Braeside on the island of Jura off the west coast of Scotland, Playa del Ingles in Gran Canaria, skiing in the Alps with occasional forays to European capital cities. Their French is reasonable, German rather basic and a few words of Spanish and Italian.
We forward to welcoming airbnb guests whether in Glasgow for pleasure or work - especially the theatre - in Islay or on the remote Isle of Jura.
