The two bedroom studios have been refurbished to a high standard with new thick grey carpet, white walls and original screenprint art. These rooms have the additional benefit of their own modern kitchen complete with breakfast bar. The bedroom studios and kitchen have their own private entrance and staircase via the French doors in the kitchen. Each bedroom has brand new beds and mattresses and is freshly decorated. Both double bedrooms are spacious and roomy. There is wi-fi included. The shower room has a grey slate walk-in shower and there is a separate WC on the first floor between the bedrooms.

Guests have their own private entrance which is found in a pretty cobbled courtyard. There is space to store bicycles and a movement sensor light floods the courtyard and stairs at night. The two bedroom studios have their own separate kitchen and shower room from our own apartment situated next door. The two rooms are split over 3 floors providing privacy for our guests. The entrance is through a mews courtyard accessed from Grove Road South.

Autres remarques

Each room is priced at £55 per night up until Christmas. Waitrose has a very large car park and is 2 mins from the apartment. It is free to park there over night as long as the car is moved by 9am.

Accueil très sympathique Le logement, très joli et confortable, est bien plus qu'une chambre : c'est un véritable appartement (salle de bains et cuisine partagées avec le (la) locataire de la chambre du second étage) Emplacement excellent dans un quartier très agréable, calme et d'une grande variété de commerces Mathew n'est pas avare de conseils divers pour agrémenter notre séjour et il a la gentillesse de nous emmener à la gare pour notre départ

Matt was a great host. From helping me carry my bags up the stairs when I checked in, to allowing me to use his dryer for some speedy clothes drying, to being accommodating to my last minute change in schedule, he was the consummate host. The room was clean upon my arrival and, other than some small water spots on the wall from a recent leak, an overall quality place. The location of the residence is by far it's best quality; in the heart of Southsea, at the head of Palmerston Rd (great shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs, etc.), and less than a five minute walk to Southsea Common and Southsea Castle. I've additional trips to the area planned and I look forward to staying with Mathew again.

Fantastic apartment - does feel very private and has the luxuries nearby. Matt's easy to get in touch with and helped me get sorted. Side note, I highly recommend Rosie's Vineyard nearby for a good Chablis.

So thankful to have found this listing! Was a fantastic place to stay; central, private, spacious and new. Private entry was great, meant I didn't feel like I was putting anyone out. That said, Mat was so helpful and welcoming in all respects! I am coming back to Portsmouth next year and I know where I will be staying :)

Clean, tidy and cozy apartment with full equipments provided by the Host. Feeling warm and homey. Happy gathering with my family. Mat is a friendly and very nice person. We will definitely be back again.

We are a married couple who love playing sport, travelling, cooking, dining, art, film and scrabble. We want guests to feel like they are at home when they stay here and to feel utterly relaxed. If you have any questions before or during your stay please simply ask. If you need any groceries in the fridge that can also be arranged although the shops are a 2 minute walk.
