Description

Large family home in the country with goats, sheep, and chickens.
Stay with us in our new, three-story house and explore the woods, trails, creeks, and nearby lakes.
Our animals will greet newcomers warmly.

Our farm backs up to thousands of acres of forest land with creeks, trails, and hiking just ripe for experienced and inexperienced hikers. We also live one mile from Lake Margaret, which if you want an easy pavement walk, is one mile around. Along with the creeks and lakes, we have Cherry Valley Falls right behind our house that you can forge a trail to, or you can park on Mountainview and start at the trailhead. If your timing is right, we can give you a guided tour to the falls from our backyard.
We also have a kayak that you are welcome to drive up to Lake Margaret and use on the lake.
If you enjoy gardening or eating fresh vegetables, visit our garden and greenhouse.
Inside the house, enjoy your private room with attached bath. Or, you can join us outside in the evenings for some sun and wine. Wake in the morning rested, drink some fancy coffee, and enjoy the wildlife that treks across the field from your perch on the deck while the sun rises in the East.
My son also loves company playing Xbox if you fancy yourself a gamer.

The guest bedroom is on the second floor. Feel free to use our kitchen as you need while you are staying with us. You can use our bikes and trails to explore the property and outlying areas. You can also use our hot tub and pool (during the summer) for after you come back with aching muscles.

My husband and I both work, so we won't be able to socialize much in the day, but we would be happy to talk with you in the mornings and evenings and give you tips about Duvall and the surrounding area.

Our neighbors are great people, but where we live, they are acres away. You'll find everyone knows everyone in town and most everyone is friendly and helpful.

For getting to the farm from the airport, follow the below directions: Follow I-5 N to 520 E, and then take Avondale Rd.
Take a right on NE Novelty Hill Rd and follow until you turn left at Snoqualmie Valley (website hidden)
Take the first right onto NE 124th St.
After you cross the bridge at the traffic circle, follow the circle around to 203 N/Main (website hidden)
After passing through Duvall, take a slight right onto Cherry Valley Rd.
Turn left onto Mountainview (website hidden)
At hairpin turn, stay right and follow to 318th (website hidden)
Continue onto 183rd St.
Veer left onto 320th (website hidden)
At 18724 on right, turn right into long gravel driveway

If you want to enjoy some peace and quiet, as well as see some wildlife, you'll love a visit to our farm. We have many old trees that are visited and lived in by woodpeckers. In the mornings and evenings, we have several deer that wander through the pasture. Our goats and sheep aren't wild, but they love company. Hopefully, you'll like them as much as they like you.
We have a flock of chickens, so you can expect fresh, free-range eggs each day of your stay. We also bring home raw milk from the local dairy, if you enjoy raw cows milk.
If your stay is for more than three days, we don't provide breakfast.

We have lots of animals on the farm, but the house is for humans. To keep our floors clean, we don't wear shoes in the house. Our son is in grade school, so we appreciate quiet around 10 P.M. Please no children under age 5 since we have hardwood stairs and glass tables. The house isn't toddler-proof.

My husband, son, and I love living in the country surrounded by the peacefulness of our property. We don't have to go far to hike, see wildlife, and just enjoy the outdoors.
