My 1-bedroom apartment is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, in a residential neighborhood called Church & Wellesley Village . It is walking distance to many shopping areas (Dundas Square and Bloor St), bars, restaurants with patios & entertainment (Church St), and both University of Toronto and Ryerson University. Whether you are visiting Toronto for tourism or business purposes, I can assure you that my condo will make you feel perfectly at home!
My condo is approximately 690 sq ft (64 sq m); north facing view on the 27th floor of a nice residential neighbourhood in downtown Toronto. Spacious living room and bedroom (queen size bed) with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. There is also a den with a desk for those of you who are traveling on business.
The building has a 24 hour concierge service with tight security.
My property supports keyless access powered by August Home. What does that mean? It means that you can control the lock of my front door with your smartphone! Look up August Smart Home Access system for more information. Confirmed guests will need to download the August app on their smartphone to get started.
Traveling by car? No problem! You can park indoors in a dedicated parking spot reserved for you. And it's FREE! This is not to be underestimated in a busy and congested city like Toronto.

You can access the building's gym on the 2nd floor. The gym has a good selection of free weights, cable weights and cardio machines to choose from. Furthermore, you will have access to the steam room (separate male/female) and a dry sauna (shared).
There is a 24-hour grocery store "Rabba" available in the building (access from Wellesley St).
Please note that the building's pool and hot tub on the rooftop are not available for Airbnb guests. These amenities are strictly reserved for residents.

We most probably won't meet face to face since my home uses a "keyless" system (to be explained in detail when you confirm your booking). However, if you have any concerns or questions, I'll gladly meet you. Communication is key for an enjoyable stay! Furthermore, I'm always reachable by phone and text for any questions you might have.
Once you confirm your booking, you will receive an itinerary and a house manual (similar to a guide) which contains a lot of details about your stay at my apartment (i.e., check-in procedure, parking, etc). The house manual also includes some of my favourite restaurants and sightseeing activities.

In general check-in is at 3pm, and check-out by noon (12pm). However, depending on the availability, you can arrive earlier and check-out later - I'm pretty flexible as long as there is are no guests departing before you or arriving after you. This can be discussed as your trip approaches.
Have I mentioned yet that I have free and secure parking in the building? Make sure you take advantage of that!
**Is Airbnb allowed in my condo building?**
We are all aware of the growing skepticism and negativity surrounding Airbnb rental units in condominium buildings, especially here in Toronto.
Rest assured that short term rentals in my building is perfectly legal. Property management is fully aware of my operation and they receive a monthly list of all my guests, departure/arrival dates and contact information.
Having said that, since there is some resistance regarding short term rentals in the community, I ask you to please be discreet while staying at my unit. No need to mention that you are an Airbnb guest, but rather visiting a friend in the building and staying for a few days in Toronto. The vast majority of the Verve residents are extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you for your understanding and for your respect towards the Verve community.
I ask you to be respectful of my condo, as it is my home while it is not rented. Keep it clean and tidy as much as possible. Most importantly, please remove your shoes when entering the unit!
No shoes, no pets, no smoking, no loud music, and strictly no partying. Any noise complaint from neighbors and/or breaking of the rules will result in the reservation being terminated, loss of deposit and being asked to leave the premises.
Please treat the space as if it's your own home and respect the neighbors.
It is imperative that each guest reads the House Manual which will be available once the reservation is confirmed. It contains lots of important information regarding check-in procedures, parking, and amenities around the building complex.
Note that pool and hot tub (on the building's rooftop) are not available to Airbnb guests (they are only for residents) - this is strictly enforced by the building's security personnel.

Mark and I rent out 2 properties in Ontario.
The first one is a great condominium in the heart of downtown Toronto. Guests have been enjoying the location and the building for 2 years now.
The second property is a newly renovated cottage in the Kawartha Lakes region, just 2 hours north-east of Toronto. Mark and I have put a lot of effort in renovating this property on Bass Lake, and we're very happy that we can finally share it with guests who wish to discover rural Ontario.
We enjoy interacting and meeting people from all over the world. We value tolerance, and believe in a community that respects each other regardless of gender, race, religion and sexual orientation.
