This unique 17th c. gothic Tower has recently been faithfully restored to its former glory as a romantic Summerhouse. Set in a beautiful Victorian Walled Garden on the private Homme House estate, it enjoys spectacular views of the Malvern Hills.
The Summerhouse is a unique, 17th century stone garden building. It has a Lower Bedroom Chamber with four poster bed and Upper Drawing Room Chamber, accessed via a stone spiral staircase, with a wood burning stove and beautiful views over Homme's Walled Garden and the surrounding countryside.
A separate, private bathroom building is metres away through a gate in the Walled Garden wall, offering a wet room with drencher shower, basin and loo, as well as an outside sink for washing up.
Guests are welcome to use our recycled Kadai firebowl as a BBQ or fire (only firewood fuel is supplied). The firebowl is situated on a patio on the south facing wall of the Walled Garden along with teak patio furniture and candle lanterns.
A continental breakfast hamper is delivered to the Summerhouse at the time of guests' choosing in the morning.
Note that the Summerhouse is a Grade I listed building without plumbing or electricity in the Upper Chamber, and as a garden building occasionally visited by an insect or two! Given this, and the outside walk to its bathroom, the Summerhouse is a romantic overnight stay suited to those interested in unique, glamping style experiences.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
We are resident on the Estate and on hand to help with any queries during guests' stays.
Homme House is a 200 acre working Estate, with activity during the working week.
I'm afraid we do not allow pets due to other animals and livestock on the surrounding Estate.
The Summerhouse is non-smoking. Guests are welcome to smoke in the garden with cigarette ends disposed of in the sand bucket provided.
For insurance reasons we are unable to allow real candles in the Summerhouse; battery candles and lanterns have been provided.
There are other properties on the Estate and we therefore ask guests to keep noise to a minimum when coming and going late at night.
