The Cottage is a converted dairy just 5 miles from the beautiful City of Bath. Surrounded by stunning open countryside with stunning views. A calm and peaceful space to relax and enjoy fabulous views, walks, golf/tennis, and near to some of the UK's most beautiful sites.
Next door there is another holiday house, which also sleeps four. The Cottage has its own private garden and patio area. Both properties can be rented at the same time so that two families can holiday together.
The cottage is a self contained little house, next to our house. It is very warm and welcoming, and decorated with a stylish mixture of antiques and contemporary furniture. There is plenty to do in the local area, hiking, biking, golfing (Kingsdown Golf Course - 1 km or Cumberwell Park - 3 km), visiting our local award-winning pub, The Longs Arms, seeing the sights and shops of Bath and the pretty town of Bradford-on-Avon, or just relaxing with a DVD in this very comfortable cottage.
The tennis court is right outside the cottage. Guests are very welcome to use it. We have balls and racquets for you to borrow.
There is plenty of storage space for bikes if guests would like to bring these.

The cottage makes up part of the former farmyard. There is plentyof garden space in which to roam. Beside the cottage is a small paved area, with table and chairs for your own private use.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other has two singles, with space in either bedroom for a travel cot (We have one you can use).
There is a great selection of DVDs, for kids and adults and plenty of games to play. You can go out into Bath for dinner or stay in and cook. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We can offer recommendations of places to visit, restaurants and things to do. We have two busy children and a dog, so are in and out but always on hand for as much support as our guests need.
We provide some goodies for you to make your own breakfast, bread, butter, jams, juice, oats, fresh coffee and a selection of teas.
A car is necessary as we are right in the countryside as we are not serviced by any public transport. There are local taxis companies who can be booked and are quite reasonable.
We don't have many rules but these are just a few:
1. Enjoy yourselves, but as we have neighbours, no loud noise after 11 pm please.
2. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions/problems etc.
3. Please be patient with the internet. It works but is slow!
4. Drive carefully when you drive in, just in case our dog, Pebble is wandering around.
5. We would be really grateful if you break something to let us know and if possible replace or leave some pennies to replace.
6. Tennis court. Please let the net down slightly when you have finished playing. Please collect balls from the field or yard if they go out.
