Typical Tuscan hilly and restful landscape with cypress trees, vineyards, olive groves and beautiful blooms.
The farm covers about 16 hectares of hills surrounding the ancient Villa Torre Alberghieri, including the park, the holiday accommodation, the winery and the shed for agricultural machines. With great passion we cultivate our 3,5 hectares of vineyards, 2 hectares of olive groves, 3 hectares of seminative and manage 6 hectares of wood. The vinification of all our grapes takes place in our cellars, where we produce different excellent types of Chianti Classico red wines with which we welcome our guests on arrival. Our extra-virgin olive oil is equally precious to our wines.
Our farm is available for educational and cultural purposes, but also for a pleasant walk in the nature, where you can find mushrooms, berries and animals ….
We recommend that you taste our wonderful Chianti wines (wine tasting in the property) and visit the Villa with its antique and contemporary artworks and frescoes, climbing up to the tower to have a breathtaking 360° look over the fantastic landscape!

The ‘via Chiantigiana’
Is one of the most enjoyable motoring routes in Italy. It runs directly south from Florence to Siena through the middle of the Chianti Classico wine zone of Tuscany, one of the most instantly recognisable landscapes in the world. After passing Ugolino Golf Course, the oldest golf club in Italy, the Chiantigiana runs upward and follows the ridges between the Val d'Elsa and the Valdarno, wandering from one farmhouse and villa to another, from time to time passing through villages and small towns. These include Strada in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, Panzano in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti. The towns of Impruneta, Lamole, Volpaia and Radda in Chianti are just a short distance along side roads from the via Chiantigiana and can be visited by following the network of secondary roads that link them together. Other short diversions take the visitor through beautiful hillscapes to Montefioralle and Badia a Passignano to the west, and to Gaiole in Chianti and Badia a Coltibuono to the east. The area around Gaiole in Chianti is particularly rich in castles and chapels including the castles of Vertine, Meleto, Barbischio and Brolio. The castles area can be toured by turning off the Via Chiantigiana at Castellina and heading through Gaiole, exploring the back roads and then continuing on to Castelnuovo Berardenga.

Nearby villages offer all amenities. Impruneta and Strada in Chianti are at only 5 min drive (2 km), there you can find shops, street markets, banks, bars, restaurants, ice shops, pizzeria, etc.

The property is a 5-minute drive from the Chianti Sport Club, including 5 tennis courts, 2 soccer fields, horse-riding, gym, sauna, solarium, swimming pool. Moreover, for golf fans one of the most prestigious clubs, the Golf Club Ugolino.

For mountain lovers
Abetone Mountain is 1388 m, only 1 and half hour drive from Florence. In winter for ski-lovers but there are plenty of activities during all other seasons as well. Abetone Gravity Park – a large park dedicated to mountain biking lovers. Fans of ‘Downhill’ and ‘Freeride’ will find here even five different trails of 6 km in length. Meanwhile, a ‘Cross Country’ trail with various levels stretches for about 30 km. It is the only park dedicated entirely to mountain biking in central Italy and, in addition, it is equipped with a super-fast lift system (it makes the height difference of 700 m in 7 minutes). Ponte Sospeso – a hanging bridge. In the Mammiano Basso area there is a bridge of 220 m in length, hanging 40 m above the Lima River. It is one of the longest hanging pedestrian bridges in Europe. Orto Botanico is the Botanical Garden in the Valle del Sestaione area, situated at a height of more than a kilometre. In the outskirts of Abetone there is also Ecomuseo della Montagna Pistoiese – an eco-musuem, presenting exciting sightseeing tours (such as Ice Road, Iron Road, Way of Religious Art and etc.). In August there is the ‘Festival of Blueberries’ with an open market, where you can taste a variety of dishes with blueberries, the most common shrubs in the area.
You can reach by car the top of Monte Amiata (1738 m a.s.l.) with its green meadows brimming with colourful flowers, ancient forests of beech and chestnut, and its geysers. Along the way, you can't miss a stop in the medieval village of Bagno Vignoni, with its natural thermal pool dating back to 1500, in the center of the main square.
