Description

Beautiful, spacious room w/ a comfy full-sized bed, central heat, & nice communal space 2 blocks from the Bedford L train in the very heart of Williamsburg. Surrounded by amazing cafes, bars, shops and restaurants- the perfect home base in New York!

You room is a large, airy, modern contemporary bedroom with a full sized pillow top mattress, chair, lots of lamps and lighting options and full closet and dresser to store your clothing and other items. It is a 3 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with a central eat-in kitchen and living room, so you will be sharing the space with two other permanent occupants. They have random and busy work schedules, so there will be casual interaction.

You are welcome to use the kitchen, store items in the fridge and hang out in the living room.

We are happy to give you space if you'd like, explore the neighborhood with you, or just give you tips on all the great local spots. : )

The apartment is in a seriously amazing location. We are in the very heart of Williamsburg with endless opportunities for great meals, drinks, coffee and shopping in all directions. There are also bodegas and grocery stores within 3-4 minutes so you can grab some snacks and store them here at home whenever you'd like. I have lived on this block for many years and would be happy to point you in many directions based on what you are craving. We are just a few short blocks from McCarren Park and about 6 long blocks from the East River waterfront which offers beautiful views of Manhattan, an amazing sunset vantage point, as well as lots of cool places to hang out and relax.

The apartment is a super safe and quick 2 block walk from the Bedford L train, and approximately a 2 block walk in the other direction to the Metropolitan G train. Once on the L train at Bedford, it's only about 2 short minutes to the 1st Ave stop in the East Village, 8 minutes to Union Square, and 12 minutes to the West Side of 14th Street. The L train is an amazing train because it connects with almost all of the subway lines in New York City, making it incredibly easy to get around.

There are also taxi services that are a phone call away, and it is not too hard to catch a cab (though slightly unpredictable at times.) (And the ever-useful Uber.) Also, there are CitiBike docks located within a 3-4 minute walk in various directions.

Règlement intérieur
L'entrée dans les lieux se fait après 14:00

No parties or guests-This is a no smoking apartment, and sadly, pets are not allowed.

Otherwise, I just ask you to treat the space as you would treat your own. And to enjoy, and kick back!

Hey There!

I am an actor/motivational dancer/artist from the Fingerlakes region of Western New York and have been living in New York City for 8 years now. I love this city- the energy, vibrance and abundance of beautiful, creative people. I have traveled all around the world (for both work and play) and truly value a clean, comfortable, safe and affordable place to lay my head.

I love getting to know new people and learning about their cultures and what makes them tick. I've recently visited Barcelona, Hawaii (Maui blew my mind,) Italy, Guatemala, various indigenous villages in Mexico, Japan-- and Northern California (Big Sur, and the incredible surrounding areas,) to name a few.

I love watching and making movies, taking photographs, going dancing, being in the natural world, riding my bike, and going out for some cocktails with friends.
