The Inlet Cabin was fantastic for our week in Ketchikan. Upon arrival, we met Gail at the Hole in the Wall Bar, and she walked us over to the cabin to show us around. The cabin is exactly as pictured and described, and included several staples like TP, trash bags, dish soap, and paper towels. Also, some previous guests had left behind things like cooking oil, spices, and coffee filters, so you may want to check in before doing your grocery shopping. The cabin was very quiet and private, nestled among the trees and perched atop a cliff over the inlet. The area is outside of Ketchikan proper and made for a glorious respite after taking in the sights in town. We saw orcas and bald eagles right off the back deck! When we had a wifi glitch, Gail worked tirelessly to ensure that it was fixed to our satisfaction. Gail was awesome generally and did everything she could to ensure we had a great time. A couple of things to note: 1) the cabin was outside of cell service for us, so make sure you have wifi calling or the like and you'll be fine, and 2) our GPS took us immediately to the listed address, but it also corresponds to the Hole in the Wall Marina and Bar parking lot (which is where you will park your vehicle if you have one), which threw us off initially because we didn't see the cabin anywhere - if you plan to meet with Gail at the bar, it's no trouble at all. Make sure you check out nearby Rotary Beach at low tide. We would recommend this rental without hesitation.
