The apartment Il Mezzà is perfect for a romantic getaway, a cosy and vintage accommodation located on the ground floor of a palazzo in the historical centre of Padua. An ideal accommodation all year long, for short vacation or long rentals.
Recently renewed, this ground floor apartment is part of the Papafava dei Carraresi Palace, a family that descends from the ancient rulers of Padua, the Da Carrara.
The refined style and vintage furniture perfectly mirror the magnificence of the palace, thus giving the accommodation a charming look.
The living room and the bedroom, flooded with light, face a spacious courtyard. The kitchen and the bathroom have both a large window facing Via Marsala, which is a central secondary road with very little traffic. You can take your meals in the spacious living room or in the kitchen. The living room has a comfortable double sofa bed in case you need some extra sleeps. The apartment has 2 entrances, one through the main entrance hall of the palace and the second one through a back courtyard with a big palm tree, here, upon request a car park is available for the guests (extra fee € 20 per day, € 80 per week, € 150 per month).

I'll take care of every detail before the guests' arrival and stay in touch with them to help plan their stay in Padua, but I will not meet them personally. On arrival they will meet Countess Francesca Papafava dei Carraresi, who lives in the palace and is also the person in charge for the check in. She has been living in Padua since many years, so she'll be able to give you precious tips about the city and its surroundings.
Please notice that there is no air conditioning in the apartment, only two portable fans.
Please notice that this is a non smoking house.
Pets are considered upon request.
Any arrival after 7pm will be charged € 30,00. Check ins after midnight have to be discussed prior to booking.
Parking: € 50,00 per week including the permission to enter the limited traffic area in Padua city center. Please notice that, if you need to park your car, you should contact me one week in advance to provide plate number.

Hi! My name is Anna and I have been working as a travel consultant and event planner for 6 years; I love to travel, I'd hit the road all the time! I am also fond of art, especially rock painting, photography and recycled art. I own an apartment in Venice, which I rent out for holidays ("the most romantic apartment in Venice") and I manage several other apartments in Veneto: I am deeply in love with my region, so rich of beauty and culture! No matter if you are visiting Venice, Padua, or the Euganean Hills: each place has something unique and I am looking forward to helping you plan a holiday that will stay in your heart forever!
