Up to 4 weeks bookings is available for the period June-Sep, and in January.
A beautiful 2-room apt with a big balcony in the heart of Stockholm in the fancy area Östermalm. Close to everything you need including many of the most popular attractions. It’s furnished in a nice, coozy and modern way with newly polished wooden floor in the living-room and hallways.
BATH ROOM is newly renovated as of 24th of March 2016.
LIVING ROOM has a big dinner table (which can be extended), sofa and sofa table.
The KITCHEN was renovated 2014 and has plenty of space for cooking, and it has a open wall with a worktop facing the living room, like a ”bar”.
The BED ROOM has a very comfortable bed suitable for 1-2 people. I also have a BED SOFA in the living room (see the last 2 pictures), which can be turned into a very nice and comfortable double bed for 2 people.
Only 10-12 min walk to the beautiful island Djurgården where you can escape from the city and ENJOY NATURE AND THE SEA. It's also very easy to get around in Stockholm by bus, subway or by boat and they run often. Stockholm is a very beautiful city built on many islands and almost everywhere you are close to nature in some way, by water or nature through parks etc.
Alternative AIR CONDITIONING -
For SUMMER GUESTS who are concerned about the apt getting warm - by the windows you can let in outside air through small holes during the evening/night, which brings down the temperature after a hot day. If that is not enough, you can open the balcony door and windows.
If you book my apartment I can guarantee you will have a great home during your visit.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions if you wonder about Stockholm or the apartment.
Accès des voyageurs
FREE INTERNET ACCESS is available in my apartment by using a portable modem. You need to bring YOUR OWN COMPUTER (laptop) and it needs to have a USB-connection.
Down in the cellar. Do NOT use the laundry space if someone else is using it. Look at the sign-up list and write down your name at a time that is vacant.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
Most often at arrival, and sometimes when leaving. Sometimes not at all if I'm out of town. On some rare occasions, when there is a mutual interest to hang out, I'd be happy to do that.
I always leave my apartment very clean for my guests. So even though I have a cleaning fee, you need to do some basic cleaning and leave the apartment in a good shape. That means:
Swipe off the worst dirt from the toilet.
Clean up all your dishes.
Swipe off stains on the surfaces where you have cooked or prepared food.
Throw away all your garbage outside my door through the grey round opening on the wall.
*If you want to be environmental friendly - throw away recycling garbage in the different containers/bags under the sink - and then go around the block to the parallel street NYBROGATAN and through it away at the recycling station next to MORNINGTON HOTEL, only 4 minutes walk.
Swipe off spots on the floor if you have left stains on it, but you don't need to vacuum clean.
Swipe off possible stains from the dinner table and sofa table.
Throw all your linen and towels in the washing basket, which is inside the white, middle wardrobe in the hallway.
* The cleaning tools are in the first, white wardrobe to the right in the hallway.
*Failure to leave the apt in a decent state will lead to a deduction of the deposit.
NO SMOKING (Exception-on the balcony, but the DOOR MUST BE CLOSED). All cigarettes must be collected in a can on the balcony, and thrown away in the grey garbage opening outside my door before leaving. IMPORTANT - never leave cigarette left overs in the garbage bag inside the apartment, it smells bad.
NO SHOES INSIDE THE APARTMENT, leave them on or by the shoe shelf, in the small hallway space of the apt.
NO EATING OR DRINKING IN THE BEDs
NO RED WINE drinking in the couch/sofa.
NO LOUD MUSIC. Quite music is fine until 9.30 pm.
NO BED-PILLOWS UNDER THE BED ON THE FLOOR, they get very dusty.
WATER THE PLANTS if you stay 5 nights or more, 2 times/week. But always touch the soil first, if it's still damp, don't give them water yet.
