À propos de ce logement
Let's start with the location. This one can't be beat! The Garden Suite has window walls that look out on a flower-filled garden. Light! The suite consists of a king bed (or two twins), full bathroom, kitchenette with burners, microwave, fridge.
We also have a second suite at this same location; see "Suite in Flower Garden--location!"
The suite is a large studio apartment. The living area has two sofas and a small dining table. Guests use the outside patio as another option for eating and lounging on two comfortable lounge chairs.
Accès des voyageurs
We, the owners, live on the second and third floor. The suite is on the ground floor. Guests enter and walk through an entrance way to the garden that is in the back of the property. The suites are surrounding the garden.
The owners enter the same doorway from the street and climb the staircase to their home.

Owners are available to answer questions but provide strict privacy to the guests. We have lived in San Miguel for 17 years. We are generous with all the secret ins and outs of the city like the best restaurants, shopping, art, Spanish classes, etc
Our guests love our suites and love our street. They often say that they feel like a local when they are staying here. The property is on a quaint, charming street. Across the street is a brand new cafe that has fabulous healthful home-made food.
No smoking except in the garden. No pets.

We are a retired couple from the U.S. (psychotherapist and engineer) that chose to move to San Miguel after a brief visit. We couldn't get this town out of our minds and we retired 15 years before we has planned to retire. It is now 16 years later and we are still so happy to be here.
Caren made a documentary film about what it is like to move to a Mexican town: Lost and Found in Mexico.
