This is an amazing location and experience. So much better than a cottage as that little bit different and provides a memorable holiday of a lifetime. Fantastic to go sailing too, a real privilege.

A fantastic place to stay Keith's yacht is beautiful and is roomy! We were a party of 5 and it was really comfortable! We sailed as a group of 4 on Saturday and it was amazing! Keith's tuition was 1st class and we have definitely got the bug as it was the two 13 year old kids first time sailing! The positioning in the marina is great and close to nice restaurants and bars! It's a must return place!! Thank you!!

You can find a B&B and have a little summer holiday. Alternatively, you can go and stay on Ruby May, and get Keith to join you, and you will have an experience that will enrich you, entertain you, relax you and nourish your soul in innumerable unexpected ways. Pembrokeshire sounded lovely to me before I booked, but I just didn't expect the kaleidoscope of sights, sounds and experiences that we had. I thought that Ruby May would be a base for us on our holiday, but it became a home, providing shelter, warmth and great comfort. And, most unexpectedly, I thought Keith might be a useful guide for a day's sailing, but I wasn't expecting to make a new friend who would guide me and my nephews through a week of experiences that have brought joy and unforgettable memories. Ruby May is a lovely, practical, well equipped yacht, and Keith is an exceptional sailor. He is hugely experienced, always calm, and is as pleasant a gentleman as you will meet. He is hugely knowledgeable about the sailing out of Milford Haven, and shares that knowledge easily and constantly. This has been a wonderful trip for me and my nephews. We sailed in gales and in sunshine. We saw porpoise, puffin, seal and endless seabirds. We walked coastal paths and beaches, and visited ancient monuments. We ate ice cream and cooked home made dinners on Ruby May. We saw night skies that still amaze me with the memory. We anchored in bays on remote islands, motored up river and sailed round headlands. It wasn't just a holiday, it was much more. Thank you Ruby May, and thank you very much, Keith.

This was a well-equipped yacht in Milford Haven marina. When we visited she was berthed very close to the marina showers and toilets and centrally amongst the marina shops and restaurants. Keith was a helpful host but not around during our visit so the fantastic sailing opportunity mentioned in other reviews was not possible. Milford Haven itself is well-located for exploring Pembrokeshire and we were able to visit Pembroke and Carew Castles along with plenty of coastal walking. We did manage to spot a couple of seals in Ramsey Sound but porpoises were sadly elusive! We would recommend Ruby May to groups of adults or families with older children (I would not like to take small children there due to the unbarriered nature of the pontoons). Do be aware that the forward cabin's bed narrows sharply and may not be comfortable for 2 in some cases!

Ruby Maybis a really fun place to stay if you are visiting Pembrokeshire. Restaurants are close and great, Tesco's in close walking distance and Marina facilities are great. We visited Skomer island to see the puffins and I would thoroughly recommend that. Loads to see and do around. Thoroughly recommend. Keith was a great host. Thanks

It was a great experience staying on Ruby May. Its a nice and cozy yacht cum sailboat. Keith and Samina are perfect hosts. They made us really comfortable and welcome. There was a small glitch with the padlock at midnight and Keith was kind enough to come over at that hour to help out. They also took us for sailing the bext day which was great fun. We wish to visit again to this wonderful place. Location is very convenient and close to few good restaurants. The one right there at Marina office is Martha's which is really good and you get to taste absolutely fresh produce with some fine cooking. Overall - highly recommended

We stayed on the Ruby May for two nights in late August and had a brilliant time. The Ruby May is a lovely, modern, fully functional yacht with a decent amount of room below deck. We were two adults and two children but you could sleep more. The boat is moored in the centre of the Marina which means easy access to the on shore washrooms/showers. There are several good restaurants a short walk from the boat so you don't have to cook on board. Keith was great to communicate with and we opted for a days sailing with him where he proved to be great company and a patient helpful skipper, highly informative about the estuary and its tankers and seemingly possessed of psychic powers to predict the passing of giant ferryboats. A great way to do something gently nautical and an enjoyable base for exploring nearby. We'll try to go back.

Hi.
I travel extensively whenever I can. Sometimes on my boat across oceans, or sometimes, as most normal people do, by plane.
I love having guests onboard, everyone should have the opportunity to experience life on a boat, I find it so relaxing.
Taking new people sailing gives so much satisfaction. The number who go, expecting it to be a 'passenger' experience and suddenly realise that they too can steer it, control it, have fun with it, anyone can do it.
If I ever get bored doing that I will sell up and garden!
