I am a 'retired' chef and event caterer and planner, and have lived here, in France, for 10 years with my husband, two sons, two dogs, two cats and a pony. My husband Steve and I run this ensemble of four gites, set in a tranquil, but not isolated part of beautiful rural France. My two sons have grown up here and are wonderfully 'French', Steve and I like to think we speak French but its more 'Franglais'. We both worked in the city of London, so moving here was TRULY a breath of fresh air.
I still love to cook and, except during peak season, can provide breakfast and evening meals, but I do get booked up, so please enquire when booking. When I am not cooking I like to walk my dogs, for relaxation I love to read.
My husband, Steve is a keen golfer and plays whenever he gets the chance, he will be delighted to help you with booking of excursions but please do not ask him during the Ryder Cup!
We are open from Easter through to October and our gite has a wood burner for cosy spring and autumn evenings. Le Poujols is suitable for families or for couples and is perfect for walking holidays, or just relaxing. We have guests who come back time and time again. We would love to welcome you here and are certain that you will have a lovely time.
