A beautifully restored classic Georgian Townhouse located in the heart of Dublin's Silicon Docks overlooking a formal garden square. There is no better way to experience Dublin City Centre living.

Built in the 1830s, the house still retains many of its original features which have been painstakingly restored including all shutters, open fireplaces, cornicing and wooden floors. This house offers a rare opportunity to rent a privately owned Georgian House in the confines of the city centre.

BASEMENT
In the basement, you will find all the modern appliances and features of a truly luxurious house. The open-planned basement includes a kitchen, dining space and garden room all of which open out onto the private garden via full-width bi-fold doors. The German bespoke designer kitchen boasts an AGA cooker, stove fire, Miele Coffee machine, dishwasher, separate fan-oven, induction hob, corian worktops, boiler tap and integrated SONOS music system.

GARDEN
The 20m garden has an outdoor dining space, BBQ and access to Macken Street. Your very own private city oasis!

FIRST FLOOR
The first floor includes two large reception rooms: a TV room and study. Open fireplaces and SKY TV (full movie and sports packages) make this part of the house cosy and the ideal space to relax!

BEDROOMS
There are three double rooms in the house: one superking bed, one king bed and one double bed. There will be space made available for you in the wardrobes with hangers supplied. Hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and all your necessities will be made available.

BATHROOMS
There are two bathrooms in the house. The main bathroom boasts his and her sinks, a large rainfall shower and a composite stone bath. The second bathroom has a wet-room style shower.

LAUNDRY
There are full laundry facilities in the house with a separate washing machine and tumble drier. Washing powder is available for your use.

Guests will have access to the entire property.

Either myself or my partner Alan will endeavour to meet you on arrival and departure! If this isn't possible, Marcia (our housekeeper) will be there to greet you! Full details will be arranged once booking is made.

Located in between Grand Canal Dock and Trinity College Dublin, you will be staying in Dublin's trendiest neighbourhoods. Restaurants, theatres and amenities are in abundance!

5 minute walk to local Dart Station. Bus stop just 2 minute walk. There is also a Dublin bikes stand within 200m. Or get a HAILO or UBER taxi within a couple of minutes. Simply pick you preferred mode of transport! Getting around couldn't be easier.

Professionally laundered 100% cotton bed sheets and towels will be provided.

There is an option of an additional airbed (hotel grade). Please enquire with us before booking if you require this.

Please note that this is a three storey house with 30 stairs from basement level to the top floor. Please take note if you have young children or if anyone in your party has mobility difficulties.

This is our home, please treat it with respect and as your own. All furniture and fittings are either bespoke or antique so please treat with care.

Unfortunately, no parties or large gatherings allowed. This is a residential area and our neighbours must be respected!

The number of guests staying must equal the number specified when booking. There is a strict maximum of 6 guests.

Smoking only allowed outside.

Always lock the front and back doors when leaving property and ensure all windows are closed and locked.

Alan & Rachel ont été très accueillants, souples sur les horaires. Le prix de l'hébergement est élevé mais les prestations sont au rdv - architecture intérieure, confort, équipement, technologie ! Privilégier la marche à pied ou les transports en commun pour se rendre vers le centre plutôt que la voiture (mauvaise circulation).

Well situated across from pretty park and blocks from canal and walkable to city center. Beautiful restored townhouse with upscale everything including a beautiful lower level with high end kitchen and working wood fireplace. Loved it!

This place was gorgeous and in a good location. It was quiet at night, had plenty of space for four of us and was clean, modern and comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful updated four floor home in a lovely neighborhood. Very convenient to walk to all the sites and Temple bar area. Park green space in the center of u shaped street kept the road quiet and limited to the residents. Parking pass to park our car out front was a big plus for us! The kitchen was fabulous and she left us coffee and a loaf of delicious fresh bakery bread for breakfast. A great space for a family or couples traveling together.

We loved staying in Rachel and Alan's beautiful home. It is an absolutely amazing place, beautifully decorated and with a kitchen that would put many restaurant kitchens to shame! Not to mention the magical view of the square in front of the house. And Rachel was the perfect host - friendly, considerate and with lots of tips on places to eat and visit. We would highly recommend this listing to anyone visiting Dublin. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Rachel & Alan in person but thanks again to you both for making us have a great stay in Dublin!

Wonderful place to stay! The property is exactly as described; a luxurious Georgian townhouse in a perfectly central location. The Grand Canal is a few minutes walk in one direction while Trinity College and the Temple Bar area is 15-20 minutes in the other. We were three women on holiday so the three bedroom, two bath layout was perfect. We were greeted on arrival, given a tour of the house, and showed how everything works. I loved the kitchen's built in espresso maker!! Rachel thoughtfully provided bread, butter, jam, juice, and milk to begin our stay. She also stayed in touch during our visit in case we needed anything. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a charming park in the middle of the square. I definitely recommend this property if you are staying in Dublin.
