We have a few additional house rules, most having to do with safety: First, for fire safety reasons, we cannot allow smoking anywhere on our property. Second, if you bring a dog to the ranch, we ask that you conscientiously abide by all our restrictions. Third, if you bring horses to the ranch, we as that you strictly abide by all our rules and restrictions, as these are part of our insurance policy requirements. Please note that guests may not use the private trail system in the immediate neighborhood. Fourth, we ask that you do not try to feed or pet our horse, Lady, without first asking us to introduce you. If you like, we will show you how to give her one of her favorite treats. Finally, we ask that you wash and put away dishes and kitchen items you use during your stay.

I am a native of Los Angeles and a retired engineer. After leaving the rat race, my husband and I have finally realized our dream of living in the San Jacinto mountains, our favorite place in the world. I have a lifelong love of horses and riding, and now that we have a small ranch, I am fortunate to be able to keep a horse on my property and enjoy the trails of our beautiful surroundings with her. When I'm not riding, I also enjoy hiking with my friends. One of the primary reasons I joined airbnb is to be able to share a bit of our lifestyle with others who have similar interests.
