The property was in a good location if you have a car to get around with. Shortlands station is just down the road. The fire places and wooden floor are lovely. The size of the kitchen is good and it is easy to prepare a variety of meals with all the utensils provided. Cathy had provided us with some personal touches including a Christmas card and some thoughtful Christmas treats which were very kind. Sadly we were disappointed about two things and I debated a long time about whether to put it in the review as all in all we had a good time but we felt the following points were valid: And we would like to know this information if we were visiting an air bnb. Firstly, there is overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke mainly in the kitchen but throughout the property. It may be from the neighbours who smoke outside the kitchen window or from the owner but if you are a non-smoker it is really unpleasant. Secondly, the downstairs neighbour is incredibly noisy and had us awake on two separate occasions until 3:30 am with swearing, shouting, singing etc admittedly one night was New Years but the noise was very definitely exceptionally loud and kept us wide awake.

The place is very spacious, the location is great, not far from high street and bus stop. Cathy provided flexible check in and check out time.

This flat was perfectly situated for our visit to Bromley, where my husband grew up. The flat is spacious, with large windows that allow in plenty of light. Cathy vacated the place so that we could stay here. There is plenty of room for a couple, and you can walk to shops, the bus stop, nearby parks, and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
