À propos de ce logement
A spacious Studio apartment which is completely detached and sitting at the end of a modest suburban garden. It's a very peaceful, cosy and smartly furnished place to spend a few days relaxing or quietly working.
The open-plan layout feels light and spacious thanks to a large rooflight, and glazed double doors.
There's a shower room, with tiled shower cubicle, basin and wc - and you'll sleep on a huge bed with comfy (but firm) mattress.
There's a dining table, huge sofa, wardrobe - and some basic cooking facilities in the form of a combined microwave/oven, kettle, toaster, sink and fridge. (There isn't a washing machine, but you are welcome to use the one in the main house).
Outside is a small patio area with table and a couple of chairs, and a some security lights which help if you are arriving back at night.
Brampton Road is a quiet, leafy residential area, with unrestricted on-street parking, it's 20 minute walk to the Grafton Shopping Centre or the Railway station - but there's an Asda supermarket almost round the corner and a host of other shops, pubs and cafes along the 'cosmopolitan' Mill Rd which leads to the town centre .
There are buses running to the town centre or Addenbrookes Hospital form the nearby stops on Coldhams Lane.

I like to meet guests when they arrive, and will often offer to show them around the city or just have a chat & coffee together in the house.

Former Quantity Surveyor, and part time teacher of EFL. Have lived in Cambridge over 20 years but was brought up 'up north' in the industrial town of Middlesbrough. Love to travel, play sports (cricket mostly), and enjoy live music & dabbling with languages. I'm also an active 'couchsurfer' and love to host travellers, so Airbnb is a kind of extension of this for me - and I enjoy the mix of guests, and sometimes new friends it generates.
