This little gem in St Henri is the fruit of 18 months of renovations and love. Perfect for musicians and writers, it features a piano and two guitars, an office and a sunny terrace. Located just blocks from the Atwater market and the Lachine Canal!
I have been renovating my apartment since moving in nearly 18 months ago, and I hope it shows! The apartment features lots of little details designed to make it cozy and creative, such as musical instruments, space for lounging and writing, an awesome (and deep!) porcelain bath, a sunny office and adjacent terrace, and easy access to the Lachine Canal, Atwater market and Notre Dame Street. It's just a few steps from Place St Henri metro and a quick bike ride into downtown.
The apartment is located quite close to the CN and VIA rail train tracks, so there are trains passing fairly regularly. If you are sensitive to the loud noises the train can produce, or are a light sleeper, the apartment might not be the best choice for you. I find with earplugs during the night, I have no problem and barely notice the train anymore. Earplugs are provided free of charge to all guests :)

I am happy to help you get oriented to Montreal, but the apartment is all yours if you book it!
Normally home to two kitties, the place is meticulously vacuumed and mopped before any visitors, but a heads up in case you have severe allergies! (Free allergy meds and a home natural pharmacy included in every rental :)
Pets are ok. No smoking allowed inside, but there is a nice deck off the back office. I generally ask guests to be respectful, but the neighbours are cool and there is a great little sound system so by all means enjoy yourselves - you're on vacation right?!
Howdy! My name is Cam and I am a friendly enviro guy from Montreal, Canada. I love to cook (as evidenced by my large spice collection and diverse cooking implements), travel, bike, camp, swim, play music, crack jokes and generally try to make the world a better place! My full time job is running a compost company and I am an aspiring writer on the side. I live in a quaint 4 1/2 (that's Montrealais for a one bedroom apartment with an office :) in the up and coming neighbourhood of St. Henri. I have put lots of love into it over the past 18 months and hope you will rent and enjoy it!
