À propos de ce logement
We call this room 'Jardim', the Brazilian word for ‘garden’. In summer, this room is filled with the scent of jasmine and the sound of birdsong but we are particularly fond of the high timber ceiling and restored masonry.
This newly renovated 25m2 room combines contemporary style and high-quality finish with garden views, original restored timber beams, stone and brickwork. Features: private bathroom, luxury bedding, free WiFi and satellite television. A generous breakfast, featuring fresh local produce and homemade jams, is served in the dining room

James and Amanda arrived in France in 2010: James from England and Amanda from Brazil. We fell in love with the area, swimming in mountain lakes, cycling through fields of sunflowers, drinking coffee in the squares of hilltop medieval towns, enjoying the wine, cheese and other wonderful produce of local markets. France was good to us and after living together in Brazil and Ireland, we made our home here and started a family.
The name Olinda is inspired by the hilltop colonial city in northeastern Brazil, where Amanda and James first met. Linda means ‘beautiful’ in English. Locals say the name comes from the Portuguese founders’ reaction to the natural beauty of the location – “Oh! Linda!” We had the same feeling when we discovered our home in Puylaurens and we hope you will too.
