Our secluded property sits just 1km outside the charming village of Cushendall, overlooking the bay. The house retains many of its original features whilst being fully modernised.

Cushendall lies at the heart of the scenic Glens of Antrim, perfect for exploring the Causeway Coast & Game of Thrones locations.

We fully appreciate our property is slightly more expensive that others in the area but there's a reason. We believe you get what you pay for and know you won't be disappointed.

Le logement

Whilst secluded and peaceful, the property is just a short walk from the village of Cushendall.

It has a private garden to the rear and shared grounds to the front.

We like to think of the property as being a home away from home and we ask that you treat it as respectfully as we do. It's our second home so we pay a great deal of attention to how it's furnished, cleaned and cared for. Our guests seem to appreciate it.

The house includes an extensive library and DVD collection.

This is not a house for those who want to be in the thick of it. It's quiet, rural and peaceful. It's perfectly located for those interested in walking, golfing, beaches, cycling, wildlife, nature and photography.

It is also close to a number of HBO Game of Thrones filming locations as well as the Causeway Coast tourist sites.

There are two play parks within a short walking distance. A 9 hole par 3 course is just 1km away.

Our property is one of four private houses created from the renovation of the original Moneyvart House, built in 1865.

It is very important to us that our neighbours' properties and privacy is respected at all times. The gardens immediately in front of each property are private to those houses.

The larger 'meadow' between the gardens and the boundary walls are shared but please respect the plantings, trees and fencing.

The areas around the cottages and the associated parking are also private.

The grounds are planted with mature trees, many hundreds of years old, as well as holly, honeysuckle, hydrangea, fuschia, ash, hawthorn, wild garlic and raspberries.

The surface in the meadow and planted grounds can be uneven and care should be taken to avoid injury.

Please respect all wildlife. It is not uncommon to see buzzards, Irish hare, red squirrel and rabbits in the area.

The property is set within a large area of agricultural land and it is imperative that guests do not venture into farmers private lands. There are plenty of public roads and pathways that provide for beautiful walks for the most laid back or those who wish to be challenged.

Local history can be experienced at the nearby Layde church ruins and graveyard, Oissian's Grave (megalithic tomb) or the Neolithic prometary fort on the top of Lurigeithan, the commanding mountain standing tall over the village of Cushendall.

We live about 40 mile away but we're available on the end of the phone if needed. In all our times renting we've only ever needed to attend to the property once for a minor problem and it was dealt with the same day.

Our wonderful neighbours are kind enough to watch the property and ensure you receive the keys.

A fantastic spot to enjoy a quiet break in relaxed surroundings. Within walking distance of Cushendall and a short drive to some stunning scenery, attraction and walks. The house itself is spacious, clean, well provisioned and has plenty of character. The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating.

Ciaran and Denise have a lovely home in Cushendall surrounded by flowers and opening onto an amazing view of the surrounding hills of County Antrim. This was the last stop on a nearly two-week trip around Ireland with eight people in my family. The lovely setting and the attention paid to us prior to and after check in by Ciaran and Denise made it possible for this to be just as special as the first. C&D made sure we knew about some of the local attractions so we could plan out our stay. They were very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was okay during our stay. It was like staying in a friend's home.

We had a fantastic stay, and the house couldn't have been lovelier. It was positioned in a beautiful, quiet spot and was homely, relaxing, spotless and a pleasure to spend time in. Ciaran was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting somewhere to stay for either a relaxing break or a base to explore Northern Ireland.

Although we didn't meet, Ciaran was in communication and made sure we were comfortably settled in. The house is a great place and location for a large family to enjoy the atmosphere of Cushendall. We were grateful to have the comforts of a house while attending our family reunion!

Property is perfect for families with children. All bedrooms are large double rooms. Location is great, really tranquil location with no noise but yet only 1 mile from village. Stunning views of sea and mountains. Property was clean, well equiped and beautifully decoarated, like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend.

A truly wonderful house containing everything that you could possibly need for a trip. Our hosts (Ciarian and Denise) could not have been better - thank you both of you for all the thoughtfulness which went in to making the first leg of our Ireland holiday truly memorable (regardless of the weather!), it was special to feel so spoilt. We only stayed for 3 nights, and should have stayed for 3 months - we will be back! Re the location - great for the Causeway and all-things Games of Thrones.
