Some one will be there to greet you and show you around. We are a working cattle ranch so our family and a few ranch workers will be 'around the ranch' at all times, either tending to cattle, fixing fence, working in the fields or other ranch duties. At times we are very busy with work and not able to visit with you as much as we would like to! But we are always available by messaging for any questions you may have. We have a folder in each cabin sharing our history and other "things to know".
There are many secluded places one can simply enjoy the scenery and nature.
PLEASE READ! The cabins are close to the corrals and barn, so at times we may have cattle in the corrals. We also have quite a few horses that hang around the corrals and the barn area during the day.
Grocery stores are an hour away, if you are planning additional meals besides our (URL HIDDEN) prepared for this. There is room in our kitchenette fridges to keep some food items. There are gas stations with some provisions within 15 minutes, in Swan Valley, 8 miles East of the ranch. There are also a few restaurants in Swan Valley. We have some basic cooking utensils for food preparation in the kitchenette: pots and pans, cutting boards, cutlery, and grill utensils.
Verizon cellular phone service works the best in our location, other carriers usually work within a few miles of the ranch There is a coin-operated laundromat 20 miles west of the ranch in a town called Ririe. Please read directions to our location very carefully.
We usually have a ranch dog and barn kittens. They love attention, but please do not allow them in your cabin or the kitchenette.
Dogs and cats live on the ranch, but no animals are allowed in the cabins or the kitchenette, since some guests do have animal allergies. No smoking inside buildings. Please treat the buildings and accommodations with care and be pleasant around people and animals.

I'm owner and manager of Granite Creek Ranch, a 4th generation cattle ranch where I also grow alfalfa, barley and wheat. I love being able to work outdoors and I enjoy creating a place where others can also come and enjoy the scenery, peacefulness and mountain fresh air. I like learning about different cultures and history as well as learning new skills and ways of doing things.
