We love getting to know our guests.
As you are choosing where to stay feel free to message us with any questions about the apartment and the surrounding area.
After choosing to stay in the apartment we are also available by airbnb and to answer last minute question.
Upon arrival we like to sit with our guests and if needed help map out their days in Rome.
Transtevere is said to be one of the last untouched areas in Rome. It's quaint and you can walk for hours exploring little shops, bars, bookstores - it's a curated area with an artistic feel on every corner.
Rome is best seen on foot - and from this neighbourhood it's possible to explore all of the historic sites by foot - the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiore, the Colosseum, and ancient Rome.
Surrounded by eateries and gelaterias you will find both traditional Italian food but also new takes on old plates.
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE:
As we are professionals and we work during the day, it is a very big sacrifice for us to give up on our working time to come check our guests in. So we ask a 15 euro's checkin fee.
The checkin fee is 30 euro's for every checkin occurring before 15:00 and after 20:00 and 50 euro's after midnight.
Because this is a residential building, please be kind to our neighbors and talk at a minimum while entering the courtyard after 9pm (voices outside carry very easily). This building, because of the location is very quiet and we would like to maintain that silence at night!
Because this is a residential building with families and working professionals we ask guests to respect the quiet in the building.
Si vous annulez jusqu'à 7 jours avant le voyage, vous recevez un remboursement à hauteur de 50 % et les frais de service vous sont remboursés intégralement.

Back in 2011 I left my beach home in Santa Monica, CA for a month long trip to Europe. After leaving my first stop, Switzerland, I continued on to Florence, Italy. A chance meeting with a handsome stranger on my connection train in Milan changed my life forever (I hear there's a movie out there with a similar premise!).
I quit my job in Los Angeles and moved to Rome. Now married and with a small family we call the center of Rome (near Piazza Navona) home. Let me know if you need any restaurant, shopping or suggestions!
I blog about daily life in Rome (and Bologna. and Sicily. and... well, other parts of Italy) here: p(URL HIDDEN)
