À propos de ce logement
Less than a mile's walk to restaurants, boutiques, and cafes in historic East Nashville. The room has a comfortable bed for 2 people. Relax in the afternoon sun on the front porch or head downtown. Great view of fireworks from our front step!
For 2 travelers, we offer a large private room with a queen-sized bed. For 3-4 travelers, we offer a second private room with a double bed.
My husband Warren built our house himself. The front has the original 1910 architectural style, but the back is more modern and the house has bits of contemporary and old mixed throughout.
We've got you covered for self-serve breakfast but other meals are on your own. We have oatmeal, cereal, and coffee/tea and you're welcome to help yourself to what's in the fridge at any time of the day. We have a French press or a percolator for coffee.
For a breakdown of our daily rate, we pay a 7% Tennessee state sales tax, 2.25% local Davidson county/Nashville sales tax, 6% Tennessee state hotel occupancy tax, and a $2.50/night Tennessee state hotel occupancy fee. Rather than advertising the room at a lower price and adding these taxes at checkout, we've incorporated them into the total price. We hope that makes it easier for our guests to budget and doesn't create any surprises for you.

We request you check in after 3pm and check out before 10am, but we are very flexible. If you want to check in earlier just to drop off bags, that is totally ok, just know that the room might not be ready for you yet. If you want to check out and leave your bags here for the day while you're out exploring, that's totally ok too. We just ask that you pack up your things by 10am so we can clean the bedroom and bathroom for the next guest.
We will either greet you and give you a key, or message you to tell you where you can find the key. We have a lockbox for 24-hour entry. Late night arrivals are totally fine.
You have your own private bathroom with a bath/shower, located off the kitchen. You can help yourself to what's in the kitchen, pantry, the kitchen appliances, stove, refrigerator, radio, the living room, TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, cable), washer/dryer, and front/back yard.

We may not be around much, but when we are, we really enjoy chatting with our guests. But we are also happy to leave our more private guests to their own devices. It's really up to you how much or little you want to interact. We are happy either way :)
It is important to us that all guests feel welcome, no matter what gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, race, religion, age, etc. We are always looking for ways to be more inclusive. If you have ideas on how we could improve our space, please let us know!
Please try and tread lightly between midnight and 7am. Please put dishes in the dishwasher, clean up after spills, etc. No guns. No smoking inside, but outside is totally fine. If you don't mind taking your shoes off in the room, you're free to wear them in the rest of the house. As you're leaving, please strip the bed sheets so we can throw them in the wash.
