Sherri's house was a great place to stay during my trip to the Black Hills. Her house is very well cared for and extremely clean.  She and Bob went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable in the room and fed well during breakfast.  I stayed 3 nights and explored the northern hills, Spearfish Canyon, Devil's Tower in Wyo., and the Old Baldy Mountain and Crow Peak trails.  Sherri and Bob know a lot about the area so they were both great.  Parking was on the street right in front of the house.  They have cameras set up all around the property for extra safety.  They even invited me to join them at the casino in Deadwood for free bingo night.  Overall Sherri's place was my favorite place to stay during my trip and her and Bob's company was wonderful.

Very nice historical home in a good location. Super host, quick responses to any questions, lots of good local information. Very helpful and at the ready to make your stay special. Great breakfast to start the day. Even a ride into Deadwood to save cab fare. I would gladly stay again.

Sherri made me feel welcome right away. She had the lights on so it was easy to find the house in the dark, street parking was easy, and the house is so cozy. She and her friend, Bob, made sure I had everything I needed, from my route for the next day and extra blankets, to evening tea and a wonderful breakfast. Playing with Sherri's dog, Lilly, was so much fun too. Definitely would stay again.

Sherri is an amazing host. I would never would have seen and experienced as much in the Black Hills without the abundance of lists, maps, and advice Sherri gave me every morning. Highly recommended!

Sherri's friend Bob met me when I arrived. He was very kind and even let me park my motorcycle in the garage. When Sherri arrived later in the evening she too was very kind and welcoming. In the morning, Bob got up at 6:30 (I had to leave early) and made me a wonderful breakfast. Great experience!

Sherri was always quick to respond to my texts as I was getting close to her residence and gave great directions to her house and restaurants nearby. She was very welcoming and showed me around her lovingly restored home. Her place is very neat and clean, and she makes a killer breakfast. I hope to be back to that area again and would love to stay in her home again.

I enjoy hiking in the beautiful Black Hills, riding motorcycles, sharing information about activities and places with guests, attending great rock and country music concerts in Deadwood, researching the history of my home, cooking from scratch, decorating, playing board games, and reading. I first used Airbnb in the summer of 2014 on my trip to Europe. I will do all I can to make your trip to the Black Hills memorable!
