I had a great experience staying at Dan's place. Communication was easy, Dan was friendly, and the space was just what I needed. Thanks Dan!
Dan's place was a perfect location for us, a nice neighborhood within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Despite being out of town, Dan took care of everything, answered questions, and solved problems right away. We will not hesitate to book again with Dan.
Great location and host! A+ AirBNB experience. :)
Dan's apartment was a perfect place to stay on our trip to Portland. It was close enough to downtown to explore the more touristy areas, very convenient if you are taking public transit, and we loved the neighborhood as well! Dan was away during our stay but stayed in contact throughout and was quick to solve any problems and answer any questions we had. We also made friends with the backyard chickens :) Thanks for having us!
Dan is a great host. He's very friendly and super responsive and easy to communicate with. And the apartment is very cozy and had everything we needed, plus lots of guidebooks and info about Portland to help us with our visit. We'll definitely be back!
This is a fantastic little hide-away in a great neighborhood. I needed a place at the last minute for 2 nights, found Dan's well-appointed, comfortable studio and he responded right away to confirm availability. He has set his place up so you have complete privacy and even a separate entrance with easy instructions on how to enter. This place is within walking distance of a lot of great food, entertainment and even a Whole Foods. I would definitely stay at Dan's again!
Dan's place was perfect!!! Dan was extremely helpful and welcoming. The place was tidy upon our arrival. Dan supplied multiple pamphlets, folders, maps, and other information about Portland. Dan heard I was coughing and left a box of tissue by the door and asked if there was anything else he could help with to ease my cough. I would highly recommend this place for your next trip to Portland.
Dan is great! He was helpful, accommodating and nice. The place is cozy, clean, private and near everything you could want in walking distance. It was a perfect stay for our first visit to Portland.
We had an absolutely delightful stay at Dan's apartment in NE Portland. The room was well furnished, cosy, and kept us warm during the cold winter season. The neighborhood was safe and very accessible, with many awesome cafes and restaurants. Downtown and a list of many other great neighborhoods were just a short 10min bus ride away. Within walking distance were areas like Belmont and Hawthorne that we really loved.
Our host Dan was the nicest man ever, who was hospitable and very easily reached. He was always checking if we ever needed anything, and we never felt more comfortable staying in his house. Also, our flight was abruptly cancelled because of the snowstorm, and Dan was so kind to let us stay an extra night for free -- we really appreciated it, and are very grateful to Dan.
Overall, we had a terrific airbnb experience with Dan, and would certainly stay with him again if we visit Portland again.
My partner and I stayed at Dan's cozy nook for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The weather was gray and icy, not unexpected given the season, so it was lovely to have a warm place to come home to. The place was conveniently located, clean and comfy, and Dan was really helpful -- he even lent us an extra bike helmet so that we could take advantage of a tandem bike we borrowed from a friend ((website hidden)). I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Dan again if we go back to Portland.
