Steps from trendy West Queen West in a quiet leafy neighbourhood, this is a cozy four bedroom, two bathroom book-filled corner house with an eat-in kitchen, open living and dining room, laundry and a large backyard patio with a BBQ and parking.

Steps from the great shopping and restaurants in a quiet leafy neighbourhood amongst Gothic Victorian architecture is this relaxed, comfortable home on a large corner lot that would work very well for a couple or a family of eight. On the main floor looking out into the greenery is an open living/dining room and a cheery kitchen with a breakfast table.

At the top of the main staircase to the second floor you are greeted with a bright and airy reading space and two more bedrooms (one can be an office or bedroom) and a four-piece bathroom.

Ascend the final staircase to the top floor with a private master bedroom, a sitting room (or bedroom if you need the space) and four-piece en-suite bathroom.

At the back of the house is a brick patio with a wooden table and chairs underneath a soaring maple tree. A barbecue makes this a great place for lingering over summertime dinners with friends. The backyard is private and fenced in, making it very safe for small kids. Trees hide the front porch and its lounge chairs where you might want to sip a coffee, and if you have kids they can play on the climbing structure in the fenced, grassy side yard. In the basement there is a washer and dryer if you need a mid-trip wash.

There are a total of three Queen-sized beds (two complete bed frames and one fold-up that can be a couch or bed) and one King-sized bed (pulls out from one Single to a very comfortable King). You can access the backyard and BBQ off of the kitchen at the back of the house. You can access the side yard from a gate in the backyard or from the front yard. High capacity, front-loading laundry facilities are in the basement. Kids' items are available if you need them, including a booster chair, car seat, plastic cutlery, books and toys for many ages, and more.

We're close by and friendly and we like to think we keep our finger on the pulse of what's going on in the city and what would be the fastest way to get around. We can do all this in three languages: English, Spanish and French.

The house is steps from Queen Street West in Beaconsfield Village, a neighbourhood of cute Victorian houses where you are surrounded by the trendy cafés, restaurants and shopping along Queen West, Ossington, and Dundas West. If you have kids, they may not let you stop at those cafés because an 8-minute walk gets you to two major parks -- Dufferin Grove and Trinity Bellwoods -- and the playgrounds are calling. They may be okay with a quick stop at some gourmet ice cream shops! :)

There is private off-street parking on a brick driveway for one car. The Dundas or Queen streetcar makes the 15 or 20-minute trip to the universities and hospitals simple, and a 5-minute Dufferin bus ride connects you to the Bloor subway. Biking to OCAD or U of T is pleasant and even faster than transit.

There is one parking spot at the back of the house. You can get a temporary permit online for more on-street parking.

This house has a beautiful vibe and a happy ecosystem in a quiet neighbourhood. Please understand that this is a quiet residential neighbourhood so small early evening dinner gatherings are great but no parties, no smoking, and no pets due to allergies. You know..the usual stuff.

Logement tout à fait conforme à la description, propre, parfaitement équipé, dans un quartier calme et proche du centre-ville. La maison était accueillante et les chambres très confortables ! Le parvis de la maison était même déneigé le matin après la tempête de la nuit :) Nous n'avons pas rencontré Paul directement mais il est resté disponible et joignable en tout temps. Très beau séjour !

Beautiful house and very well equipped! Great room for a kid on the 3rd floor, even with its own full on-suite bathroom (1 of 2 bathrooms in the house). One thing to note is that while the AC was very effective on the main floor, and to some extent on the second, it didn't reach the third floor. However, several fans (ceiling, window, and portable) were available to compensate. (But we were there on a very hot week). Great location!! Walking distance to restaurants and an amazing park for kids. Great host!! Paul answered all our questions by email and quickly. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

This place was amazing! Paul was a really great host and was very attentive and responsive to our messages from the time that we made the reservation up until we left. I highly recommend staying here: it looks just as great as it does in the pictures you're definitely in a great location in the 6

Paul was very helpful with showing me how to get a parking pass, and making sure my friends and I had everything we needed. The house was very beautiful and so was the fenced in back yard. Next time I come to Toronto I am definitely going to try book this house again

My wife and I are natural hosts having travelled a fair bit. We know that first impressions, meeting the right people, and having someone to help you with the major and minor aspects are crucial to a comfortable visit in a new place.
