Stay a while. Relax on the enormous second story deck just off the dining room. Watch the pheasant scurry into the pines and the sunset paint beautiful pinks and golds across the Montana Big Sky.
Enjoy all six acres, including two and a half acres of landscaped courtyard or take a stroll down the private road to the Whitefish River to clear your head. The neighborhood is safe, peaceful, quiet and has a country feel. Most of the lots are five to 20 acres so you have room to breath in the clean, fresh air and enjoy the quiet.
Do you like board games? We have plenty!
Need high speed WiFi? It’s available throughout the facility.
A full laundry, including washer, dryer, soap, iron and ironing board are available from 8am till 10pm. House laundry has priority so please ask first. NO SHOES in the washer or dryer. If you have forgotten something, simply ask as we often have extra necessities available.
Enjoy your provided self-serve continental breakfast in the dining room or on the east deck, surrounded by hundreds of perennials and large trees. The view of the Columbia Mountain range is breathtaking in the morning as the sun breaks over the peaks.
The self-serve breakfast may include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, toast or bagel, butter, jam, hot or cold cereal and rice milk. If you want to whip something up for yourself in the kitchen, condiments, spices, regular and paper plates, cups and eating utensils, post and pans, and more are available. Please clean up after yourself.
The home has a welcoming entry, sunken living room with cathedral ceilings and a large windows to enjoy the view. The huge dining room opens on to the 24' x 30' foot deck with patio eating area and BBQ. The bright, clean kitchen is complete with an electric range, microwave, refrigerator with freezer and dishwasher. Maple hardwood and tile cover the floors while the bedrooms all have brand new plush carpet. The entire home has new paint, inside and out.
Our listing says "not infant friendly" because our son is 15 years old and our home is no longer child proofed. We don't have child safety items (plug covers, locks on cabinets, gates at the tops of stairs, etc.) and long ago gave away our high chair and other child items. If our home is not child safe enough and you'd rather stay elsewhere, we understand.

Enjoy our two very friendly Samoyed dogs, Atlas (a therapy dog) and Athena. They have an amazing smile that will draw you in to their calm, gentle and happy presence. People are amazed at how quiet and laid back they are. Want to snuggle, they will gladly join you. Want to chill by yourself, they will go and lay down and leave you completely alone. Friends have called them "white rugs" and often forget they are here. Please note: Atlas and Athena are not allowed outside of the house as they run and quickly get lost. Please make sure the front door is always closed completely, even if you are just running out for a moment.
Your new home is centrally located. Here are some drive times:
Glacier National Park is a beautiful 30 minute drive. If you are planning on hiking in Glacier, Hike 734 for great insight on all the amazing hikes in Glaicer.
Whitefish Lake is 15 minutes.
Whitefish Mountain Resort Base Lodge is only 30 minutes.
Kalispell Downtown exploration is only 15 minutes away.
Flathead Lake, the largest, natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, is a 40 minute drive until your toes are submerged in crystal clear water.
Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) is less than 15 minutes away. Really. Yes, you can sleep in just a little because you only need to arrive an hour and fifteen minutes prior to your departure. The joys of a smaller airport!
Costco, Target, Walmart, an organic grocery, shopping, coffee shops, various entertainment venues and multiple restaurants are a 5 to 10 minute drive.
Most locations in the valley proper can be reached in less than 30 minutes. We are very centrally located in the center of the valley.
Everywhere in the valley is safe. The locals are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Don't be surprised if people wave at you as you drive down the road, they say "HI" everywhere you go and people actually look at you and smile. The Flathead Valley really is a slice of heaven on earth.
Our home is the ideal place to stay when you are in the Flathead Valley for any season and reason. Visiting family? On business? Vacationing? Outdoor recreational fun? Skiing? Snowboarding? Crazy cousin's wedding? Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls or Bigfork are all within easy driving distance. Traffic jams are defined as a handful of cars at a stop light or a bunch of tourists pulled over to the side of the road to look at a deer, elk, moose or bear.
Now you can have a place to call home while you experience the adventure of the wild and beautiful Northwest Montana. You will be welcomed like friends as we want you to feel at home. Ask as many questions as you would like. We love sharing our piece of Montana.
We love our home and our neighborhood, so we ask you please treat our home and neighbors with manners and respect.

Please tidy up after yourself, do your own dishes, et cetera and keep your personal items in your own room.

No bleaching or dying your hair using the bathrooms and towels. This stains the tubs, sinks and ruins the towels.
Please help us take care of our home by not flushing tampons, pads, facial wipes, paper towels or any other non-biodegradable products down the toilet as it clogs the septic system.
Our home is no longer set up for young children as our son is nearly 16. The house does NOT have cabinet locks, outlet covers, gates at top of the stairs, a high chair, crib or a pack and play.
