Falowiec (form the Polish word fala, wave; plural: falowce) is a block of flats characterised by its length (820 meters!) and wavy shape. This type of building was built in Poland in the late 1960s and 1970s. Now it is recognized as an unique example of socialist modernism and appreciated by artists. In 2015 edition, Gdańsk culture festival "Streetwaves" hold here. Miniatur of the building made from the wool and created by Polish artist Julita Wójcik is presented in National Gallery 'Zachęta" in Warsaw.

Price ticket for tram is 3 PLN. 15 minutes to SKM (urban railway) and PKP railway station "Gdańsk Oliwa". Price of taxi into Old Town and Sopot is 20 PLN (Uber, Scorpions) - 30 PLN (regular). During the night, you can take buses N1 and N13 from main railway station in the city centre.
