2 bedroom rustic cabin, with modern updates, sleeps 6, on Ambajejus Lake, with gorgeous views of Mt. Katahdin off your front deck.
If you love the outdoors, you will be in your own little piece of heaven here.
Fishing, boating, hiking, biking, hunting, snowmobiling, and tons of wildlife.
Feel like you are in your own little cabin, as this cabin is our personal home away from home. We share all our outdoor fun toys with you, for no extra fee: 2 canoes, 2 kayaks, and life jackets.

Le logement

The property has two waterfronts. The front of the cabin is facing Mount Katahdin. There are blueberry bushes, and a small beach area. There is also a built-in fire pit that looks over the lake and mountains, surrounded by hammocks, and camp chairs. The back of our property is on a cove, where we have a path that leads to a staircase down to our dock. This cove has calm water, the perfect place to tie up your motorized boat, to fish off of, or jumping in for a swim.

Accès des voyageurs

You will have access to two canoes, two kayaks, rafts and floats, lifejackets, and everything you would expect in a fully operating kitchen.

Échanges avec les voyageurs

Guests can call me anytime for questions, directions, recommendations, etc. before and while staying on the property.

Autres remarques

Our hot and cold running water is pumped from the lake, as most cabins up here are. The water is not for drinking or cooking. You must bring in your own water for consumption. There is a spring a mile from the cabin, that you can use for cooking and drinking water.
You must bring your own sheets, and towels. There are two full size beds, one bunk bed, and one twin size bed.

Really a wonderful place. Very comfortable and clean. There are so many different spots at the camp where you can relax; the comfortable living room, the front porch, the front deck overlooking Ambajejus Lake, around the fire pit at night, in the hammocks, on the beach, on the dock at the cove. The camp has an absolutely tremendous view of Mt. Katahdin across the lake. Great kayaking on Ambajejus Lake where we saw bald eagles and loons while exploring it's islands and logging history. Also very close to Baxter State Park and all the hiking it offers. If you're looking for a place to kick back, this is it.

Cozy cabin right on the edge of Baxter State Park. Backyard has great views of Mount Katahdin, and a huge lake with kayaks for the guests use. I would recommend the place for anybody planning on hiking the mountain or just looking for a nice relaxing get away in the woods.

Great cozy cabin in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed watching the sunset by the fire pit and canoeing around the lake's little islands. Easy and pretty drive into Baxter State Park. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals, and Brenda and Brian were quick to respond to our questions. Highly recommend!

THE VIEW!!! We never turned on the TV. This cabin is exactly as described with the exception of the view. The view was more than expected. We slept, ate, and lounged in the back room overlooking the lake and Mt. Katahdin. Simply beautiful!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four but could easily accommodate many more people comfortably. The view of Mount Katahdin from the front porch is absolutely amazing! The use of the canoe and kayak were greatly appreciated and gave my kids their first experience on the water. We enjoyed s'mores nightly from the sunken fire pit, caught many sunfish, and relaxed on the hammocks. Even though we came equipped with tons of bug spray, the wind off the lake kept them away. Although the cabin has all the amenities of home, we were able to unplug and enjoy the beauty of he area. We are looking forward to our next trip to Ambejesus lake. Thank you Brenda and Brian!

My husband Brian, myself and my 2 teenagers live year round on Cape Cod in MA. We own a landscape business. Yes, we leave beautiful Cape Cod to go to our beautiful cabin in Maine as much as we possibly can! It is our "Heaven on Earth"
We love outdoor adventures. We swim, boat, hike, play golf, ride horses, and love to breathe in the fresh air of the North Woods of Maine!
