John and I work in a home office, so we will be around if you need us for recommendations or questions about the area.
We have two friendly dogs. We are happy to keep them away from you if you prefer. John smokes, but only outside.
If I haven't heard from you regarding an estimated time of arrival by your check-in date, I will message you in the morning to ask. I'm not expecting an exact time, just an estimate. This allows me to plan my day and insures that I will be here when you arrive.
Smoking outside only (use ashtray) and with extreme care due to fire danger in the woods in the summer.
Quiet after 10:00 p.m. I'm fine with late arrivals (please notify me if you will arrive late) and quiet activities after 10.
We are unable to accommodate children under 5 at this time.
We are unable to accommodate pets.
I am unable to accommodate guests who Instant Book with less than 24 hour notice.
Thank you and enjoy your trip to the beautiful Sierra Nevada!

I'm a retired high school English/Spanish teacher and part time nonfiction writer. I love books, enjoy cooking and would love to one day visit all our national parks. I also love kayaking, hiking and a good cup of coffee. I've traveled throughout the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Asia and I understand the need for comfort, relaxation and privacy after long days seeing the sights.
