25 minutes from downtown Asheville, our secluded cottage on Bearwallow Mountain has breathtaking views of Blue Ridge Mountains from spacious front porch. Newly upgraded kitchen and bathrooms; hiking trails surround property.
Open, light-filled interior with bedrooms & full baths downstairs and ample loft space plus full bath upstairs. Inviting, spacious front porch with breath-taking views ideal for lounging, dining, dancing and truly getting away from it all. Cottage is nestled in mountains and is made for people who love beautiful mountain scenery. The first time my wife saw the property she said, "I wish we'd gotten married here."

Alan and I were married in 2012. Every day we feel fortunate to have met, and we are so happy to share our cottage property with visitors to these wonderful mountains. We have 6 children and 1 grandchild, and they keep us busy. We love to camp, hike, bike & ride horses on the mountain around our farm (goats, chickens, hogs, vegetable garden, swimming pond, connecting on western border to the Cottage + 10 acres). Alan is from Raleigh, NC and moved to Asheville in the late 1970s; Annie was born & raised in NYC, Asheville since 2012.
