We had an amazing experience with this rental. It is located in a small town in the north. Experience Greece away from tourists, but still only a short drive to Petra beach. We ate in the local restaurants in Stypsi, swam in the pool, and drove to beaches and sights. Rent a car in Mytilene and it is about an hour from there. We took the ferry to Lesvos from Ayvalik Turkey after a week in Istanbul. We did all of this with our 12 year old son and 15 yr old daughter. Great place for kids, especially if old enough to enjoy the pool and the Greek experience. Come to Lesvos. There were hardly any tourists this year and the local people will really appreciate your visit.

Our experience at Nicole & Vassilis' place was wonderful. We were volunteering at Moria refugee camp for a week and used this house as our base each day. The apartment has excellent amenities and is in a beautiful little village. Very comfortable and every detail has been taken care of. Nicole & Vassilis were very kind & accommodating and went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a small issue with the wi-fi, but they gave us access to the apartment downstairs so we could use the guest computer. I would love to come back one day for vacation! Thank you.

We were looking for a different kind of Greek island experience after visiting the bustling Cyclades and chose to stay in the mountains on Lesvos. As with any AirBnB booking you take your chances on the accommodation, the descriptor & images, the location & your host. In this instance our expectations were surpassed! The tiny medieval town of Ypsilometopo nestled in mountain ranges was a sheer delight, with its 84 occupants, 2 taverna's, fresh mountain water, drive-by food merchants and the tinkering bells of sheep being herded though the narrow cobbled stoned streets. This, coupled with the beautifully appointed accommodation, delicious designer pool, majestic mountain views and our wonderful host Nicole, made this stop our holiday highlight! Nicole, our softly spoken, kind hearted & generous host ensured we were orientated to the village and introduced us to some locals and its rich history during a little walk around the town. Apart from being non intrusive, yet warm and welcoming, Nicole ensured that our apartment was stocked with some basic supplies incase we hadn't shopped before arriving, (as she wisely suggests you do as there is no supermarket in Ypsilometopo). Nicole's property is also a perfect & peaceful location to base yourself for day or half day visits to any of the northern/western beaches & seaside villages, thermal spa, the Petrified Forrest and other quaint mountain towns like Stipsi. We three girlfriends loved everything about Nicole and her spacious luxury apartment. So do yourselves a favour and stay in clean comfort and get to know this gorgeous little town and region. You won't be disappointed! Vicki, Linda & Vicki

My husband and I traveled to Lesvos with our children, 3 and 6 years old. Petrini Krini is in a tiny village, a winding easy drive to beaches and little seaside towns, but beautifully tucked away and calm. We had a perfect stay, the flat is spacious and pretty, and while sparsely furnished it's clearly been set up by people who know what you need to be comfortable. The kitchen had all one could need, the cooker and other necessities of home life were all there and of good quality. The pool is lovely and well maintained. I felt that the kids were safe, the house was not full of fragile or dangerous objects. Nicole and Vassilis did all they could to make sure we arrived with minimum stress, they helped us with some of the practicalities of being in Greece, and Nicole spent a super pleasant morning taking us round the elegant calm little village. Our holiday there was thoroughly enjoyable and we really appreciated all that their home and they had to offer.
