My friend and I really loved this place. The decor is lovely. The beds are extremely comfortable. There is available parking right in front of the house. We felt safe. I'm from NYC and I've seen reasons to be scared of a neighborhood. This cottage is surrounded by a community that seems to take care of thier properties. It's diverse for sure...but that what we liked about it. If you drive a few blocks away, it is industrial, so be mindful. We were about 15-20 mins to the waterfront with little to no traffic. Tabletop was about 30. WHEN I return to Cape Town I know exactly where I want to stay.

James and Manshil provide a gem of a place in the center of Cape Town. It was incredibly quiet, more than I anticipated, yet with easy access to everything. They arranged armed response for me and were readily available to fix any issues in the house, with promptness and care. The beds are comfortable and the bath is large - my two children loved their bath in the evening. It is very child friendly and has a warm feeling to it, with wooden floors and stained glass. I highly recommend this house and it is very well priced for what is offered.

It's cozy and very comfortable; having 2 full bathrooms separate from the bedrooms is a major plus; and there wasn't anything we needed that was not catered for. I really love the character of the house and more so, the hosts. If it's available when I'm back, I would certainly book it again.

James and Manshil are the best host ever! They left us a great welcome kit, with chocolate (the best) and wine, and even had a city guide with great tips. The place is amazing, they have all you can need (even plug adapters), a complete kitchen, washing machine and a lovely room. Woodstock is such a cool neighborhood, a lots of culture, great places to go and a amazing diversity. Very local and trendy, is a good place for see a another side of Cape Town. You can do a lot walking, but is very close to the My City buses and a train station, you can also use Uber too, is cheaper if you go in two or more persons. Highly Recommended!
