This house is like being in the country—but very close to all the cool/fun stuff in Echo Park. It is very quiet, has has tons of charm, and lots of light. 5 minutes to Dodger Stadium, 10 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to Silver Lake and 15 minutes to Hollywood.

Sit on the patio and have a glass of wine, enjoy the view of the Hollywood sign (and the ocean if theres no smog), pick some herbs from the garden, grill something on the bbq and enjoy the splendor of this renovated 1909 cottage!

Downtown is 5 minutes away by car, and the 2, 5, 101 and 110 freeways are all very close. Burbank is 15 mins, and against rush hour traffic.
This is my house, but I'll be traveling. The other house, next door, is usually an Airbnb rental but the houses are not connected and each has plenty of privacy. (See https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/723736 for the other house).
Air conditioning in bedroom and a new one just installed (July 2017) in the living room.

There's another guest house next door, but the two houses are completely separate and very private from each other. I'm always available by phone/email/text for any questions.
Organic toiletries are provided, as are towels, linens, all cooking supplies, kitchenware, etc.
A note about pricing: As of Aug 1, 2016 LA Airbnb units now automatically include 14% hotel occupancy tax. I've reduced my rates by 14% to account for the increase. Thanks!
A dog normally lives here, but won't be there for your stay. The place is kept very clean, but if you are very susceptible to dog allergies it may not be suitable. Thanks!
Absolutely no smoking inside, but smoke all you want on the patio (just please ash in an ashtray, and make sure butts are extinguished -- LA is high fire danger area).
No parties or loud noise after 11pm - it's a quiet neighborhood. I want you to have a good time, but also be conscious of my neighbors.
The backyard of the house (including the hot tub, back patio, gas BBQ and back yard) as well as the driveway parking are for your exclusive use.
Please turn off deck lights when you go to bed, and turn off heat/AC when not in the house.

I've been hosting on Airbnb for over 3 years and love it. I know how to respect a place as I'd want my place respected. I'm clean and courteous!
